Is it a video, or photos you are trying to slow down Anita. If it's photos then you have to adjust something different. Yes do a print screen and we will try and help. We'll get this for you.. it will be possible. Edit Just seen it.. sorry missed your last post.. going to go have a look at your page now - OK what is the message saying? I can't read Dutch

The message is just explaining what the speed button is doing. But the speed isn't editable. Could it be you have to select the frame? Just click again on the main screen and it will become editable?
(And yes, all still quiet. Just a little over 4 weeks to go... And she looks very comfortable in my belly, so maybe longer...)

It could be, you need to select the section you want to edit yes.
I bet you can't wait now Prissie.. This last four weeks seems to take a long long time. Can you believe how fast it has gone though?

OK, shall I come over? LOL.. Don't you wish we could do that? Just click on the phot/bit of video you are trying to slow down on the right hand side. Alternatively if you want to select all of it, you can put your cursor into that section and type Ctl A, which should highlight/select it all.
Hmmm.. more complicated than I thought. I suppose you've tried googling your problem?

You and I, Anita Don't give up, you'll feel like a genious when you've figured it out There is a help button (question mark in upper right corner) on Movie Maker. It says what Row said basically but sometimes it's easier to read in your own language. I looked now and found other functions I didn't know about. Funny how you all say Movie Maker is so fast, for me it's extremely slow. Probably my computer then (can't be my patience lol).

And the speeds button works now too!! ::laugh4:: I still don't know why it did not update automatically, but hey, it works fine now. Oh and Row, I think I still need you to come over!! I have LOTS of PC problems, yes yes. LOL And Priss, you can come too! And Dustin, and Sharon and Karin and ...and..and...and. Let's come all over and make a sort of reunion!! *sigh* wish we could all meet up again soon..... edit: Carina, you are right! I feel like a tiny little genius haha!!

So as you guys know I've been battling this very nasty virus on my laptop for many months now, and up until now I've been unable to find an anti-virus program that could contain it. Row suggested using Malware awhile back but that didn't seem to work on my virus. I'm happy to say after trying several different programs I've found one called "Avast" that seems to be doing the trick. I just wanted to recommend this program if anyone is trying to deal with a nasty virus because it seems to be working great. It has caught the virus while a lot of other programs haven't.

Oh yeah I've always used avast and never had a virus. Also it doesn't really slow down your computer!

^ I'll stick to Windows 7, everything above that is ridiculous and disgustingly loaded with useless animations and huge icons.
