Maybe gwyneth felt the spark when she attended the performance of ghost stories. It would be really hard to not feel something when the whole album seems to be all about them.

I think with the breakup news and The Voice, a lot of people are just now noticing Chris. How lucky we are to have noticed him first!

This whole thing has been confusing to say the least. A mere month before the separation, they were attending events holding hands and snuggling. I seriously cannot figure them out, but I guess I don't have to. Chris seems happy the past few times I've seen him, and he certainly looks hotter than ever, so whatever they are doing is agreeing with him.

I agree. Those photos from The Hall of Fame seem to as well!

It's strange to say the least. Maybe it's best to know so much but know so little about what's truly going on.

well for what it's worth this is what i think. {Spoiler} they seem to have had trouble for awhile. probably escalated towards the end of 2012. i remember thinking chris looks down in some of the smaller shows they did in australia and in some interviews. then he gained weight and got scary sick-looking thin over the beginning of 2013 and i remember seeing pap pics of him looking sort of sick. also the sudden cancellation of the south american tour for unforeseen reasons. but towards the middle-end of 2013 there were a lot of charity appearances and he looked content and happy. could be a timeline of how things progressed and he is over it now. maybe he is happy that everything is in the clear. no wedding ring yesterday. and looking at the songs for the album, they must have been written last year at the earliest. and with lyrics that seem to suggest letting go, it must have happened a while back. also shows how they can spend a lot of time together now it seems as they were doing and going on vacation and what not.
about all the public appearances earlier this year, i think that was just a last shot to try to make it work. and it is easy to remain hidden when you are happy together, but not so much when a couple is apart.
as to what she is doing with the wedding ring and what-not, i have no clue. never paid much attention to her other than as a wife of a member of my favorite band.

That sounds pretty accurate Gai. He did look pretty thin at the beginning of 2013, gaunt I think.. but he has always been up and down weight wise, so it wasn't that noticeable.
I do think he looks happy and relaxed now, and that makes me happy.

I think he's always been thin, but he did look a bit extra thin at certain points, yes. IF the new album is about his life (and he did say it was his most personal album to date to the people that attended the gigs in L.A.) then it had to have been going on for a good while. There's one video of them at the Haiti fundraiser, though, where they didn't know they were being taped, and they seemed very happy. I just find it all odd, but I guess enough time has passed to make it ok. If he's happy, then I'm happy.

All couples go through terrible times and great times. Remember they also lost a baby together at some point. It can be hard to let go, particularly when you've loved someone so much and have children together. I haven't read many articles about the split, but maybe all the hanging out together is just a slow way of separating. It can be so difficult to be with someone for such a long time and then not be with them. Maybe this is what they meant by 'conscious uncoupling'...anyway rambling now, but just some thoughts.

No I think you have a point Emma, they were married a long time, it's bound to be difficult.

This has been a strange one, for sure! We've all broken up with someone, I myself broke up with my husband five times while we were dating (it helps that we started dating at 17 so it was bound to happen!) I guess it would be difficult to completely let someone go if a) you had kids and b) if you really love the person, you just realized you can't or shouldn't be together.

An other odd one: Gwyneth Paltrow sets £15MILLION budget to buy a luxury break-up pad
IT doesn’t look like Gwyneth Paltrow’s marriage breakdown has affected her bank balance . The actress, right, is splashing out £15 million on a cool London pad following her split from Coldplay hubby Chris Martin. According to her pals, Gwynnie, 41, has set her sights on a city apartment to mark the beginning of her life as a single woman. An insider told us: “Gwyn wants a total change and a slick city pad is very appealing to her. “She loves London and Chris is from the UK so they have plenty of family members here.” Gwyneth and Chris, 37, announced their split last month after ten years of marriage. The pair relocated to Los Angeles with their children Apple, nine, and Moses, seven, last summer – but since the split, they both want to have separate homes in London too. The former couple are selling their £7million family home in Belsize Park. The insider continues: “Gwyneth has told her estate agents that she’ll pay up to £15 million. That’ll buy her something pretty fabulous, even in London. “She lives in LA now but regularly comes back here and it’s important to her that Apple and Moses see their family. “But Gwyneth doesn’t want to buy a big family home on her own. “She thinks it will be too big, and she likes the idea of being amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. “But she’ll be paying a high price for the location. She wants a view of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.” link

You got a good point here, however I think there hanging out too much to be trying to separate. I understood the initial vacation they had when they first announced it, however theyve taken I believe 2 more vacations since...it just seems a little weird. But who knows maybe thats whats going on :P
