We go to my In-laws' house on Christmas Eve (which we will do in a bit) and open presents with that side of the family tonight, then do Christmas here in the early morning with my family and then head to my Mom's tomorrow with my family. I want to wish everyone here a Very Merry/Happy Christmas! I hope you find Christmas, however you celebrate it, peaceful, happy and full of love! I cherish everyone here!
Love, Sharon

We go to my in laws to, in a hour or so. My in laws are katholic, so it's church time. We did go with them for years, but hubby doesn't want to go to church anymore. A tradition after church is eating a bit. Well, hubby still likes that Unfortunally my dad told me I am not in the picture this Christmas, so we invited my mother and father in law for a lunch tomorrow. And we are having two (!) Christmas days, so my in laws are eating here the second day. Celebrating with 7 people. I love it! Wishing all of you wonderful days with the ones you love! I will think of all of you a bit the next couple of days

Beware of the fridges, Christmas food is delicious. I ate too much I'm on my own so I don't plan a lot. There are TV programs I have to watch, same ones every year Sometimes I go to church at midnight, but not this year I think. It snowed a little, just in time, and the house is so quiet. There is a bit of magic in the air. Merry Christmas! May it be days of peace, love and joy.

My grandparents, aunt and uncle and cousins on my Mum's side are coming over tomorrow. So my parents have to cook for eleven people… I'm glad I'm not them! But generally it is a nice day and a good time for everyone to be together especially as my cousins have all moved out of their house now so it is good for them to see their family too. I like seeing my cousins. It makes me so nostalgic, and their house does too, and I don't even know why. I think nostalgia is one of the best feelings. But anyway. We just watch TV and chat and eat and it's just generally fun. I love that Christmas feeling.

Just about to go for a breakfast with fresh bread and eggs. On days like this we take our time to eat and sleep haha. Today my mother will bring us a visit and we are invited by our father & mother in law to have dinner. I will go to work (eveningshift at 3 PM) so I can't be there. Ard and the kids will go and have a really nice time, I am sure. Tomorrow, we (well, mostly nubby as I have to work again) prepare dinner for them as they come over to our place, and then we will have a lovely dinner again wich I can join as I come from work. We put a lot of work in it, including the special -once in a year eaten ánd nostalgic- christmas pudding The stove is burning, we are all in pyamas and I have christmas music on (yes!!). For me, hearing songs from my youth brings me that nostalgic atmosphere back a lot. I love days like this! Wishing all of you lovely and peacefull days

I always celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas day with my parents and brother and we have the tradition to play Trivial Pursuit. Dad always wins, my brother is always extremely lucky and mum and I always lose haha!
Happy Christmas everyone!

Went to my in-laws last night, and that's when stuff went south unfortunately. My husband became really sick, very rapidly. He has the cold flu. He's beyond sick. I still took our kids to my parents house today, but he had to shove me out the door. I didn't want to leave him, but he told me to go. My parents live 5 minutes away, so I've been back to check on him 3 times. We've had awful luck with illnesses this holiday season. :(

Oh no.. Ashley.. I am sorry about your hubbie. :( so not fun on Christmas day too. I hope he feels better quickly and you have a nice day anyway. We had my brother and Dad over. They are on their own, so they always come. We had dinner, pulled crackers, wore silly hats, and then ate too much and most of us fell asleep in front of my son's new xbox one and new game which he is still playing LOL.. they left some time ago and hubby and I sat and ate peanuts and drank beer, and watched TV.. we watched Zombie Land. Now I am here, son is STILL on the xbox and Andy has gone up to his computer for a little while. Tomorrow we have Christmas again with my in laws, at my Mother in Laws house. Dinner, presents, etc.. more crackers.

Just got back from Christmas #3, and that's it for me. We did the In-laws last night, ours this morning and my mom's this afternoon/evening. There are always a lot of people at my Mom's, but it was good. Everyone enjoyed themselves, liked their presents and ate too much food and goodies, as usual. All in all, a very wonderful, happy Christmas!
I'm so sorry Ashley that you weren't so lucky!! So many kids have been sick at school that I've been willing myself to stay well through Christmas. I hope he gets better very soon! Of all days. And I'm sending good wishes that the rest of you don't get it!

Putting up the Christmas tree at this moment. Not sure what to do with is, because Emma is curious about everything... Normally we have a real one, but this year we decide to have a fake one. Just a year with try-outs now Emma is there. Will put in the lights now and see how Emma reacts in the morning. If that's OK, I will decorate it, else wehave to figure out how we can get the tree higher, so Emma can't touch it.

In the past years we often had 2 trees, one (fake) totally for the kids and a real one, with glass balls etc. Now I am writing this, I remember last year we only had ONE fake one, totally for the kids LOL. The tree was just beautifull because it was so 'ugly' hahaha

I haven't done anything yet... as usual. Although school is having a Christmas jumper day, so that's a plus!
