Again.. I am so behind!
And you think you're going to have issues with a tree Prissie LOL! I have two mad kittens... I am not sure if it will last the one evening! We haven't put anything up yet because we have had a lot on.. Andy has a play this weekend. so I think it will be next weekend before we get there.

You could always hang the tree upside down from the ceiling. Out of reach for the baby I think, not so sure about the kittens tho I'm so behind too! Haven't put anything up yet, no star, no lights on the balcony, nothing. Don't know, maybe I won't bother this year. It's hard to believe it's Christmas in two weeks, it's so warm outside, everything's just weird.

Well, I've put the Christmas tree on, put in the lights and had it just on the ground. I've putter Emma in front of it the next morning. She loves the lights, but is staying out of it's way. The next morning I did the same, but then with decoration and still the same. Loves it but don't touching anything.
But I don't have a solution for cats. My former cat used to sleep in the tree :/

Same here too. I have lights up but no tree, and now it seems like Christmas is going to come so fast that I would just be putting it up and taking it right back down. It does seem wierd because it's so warm. Not complaining though, I like the warmth!!!

We're three ::awesome:: Oh me neither, not complaining! I'm so happy with warmth and no snow. OK I don't mind a little snow on Christmas Eve, but that's enough.

OK we put the tree up. Then Loki spent an hour pulling the baubles off and playing with them.. LOL. (plastic baubles this year sadly, but hey.. better that than broken ones) The tree is still standing however, so I can't complain too much.. YET! Both kittens are sleeping! Ok decorations done. Andy's play is over, new dining table and chairs ordered and will be delivered BEFORE Christmas (I HOPE! or we are eating off trays! eek!).. But It was so nice to just go out and buy a table. I can't wait to have a NICE table, instead of the secondhand office table we have had for years and the mismatched chairs. Andy is having an eye operation on 23rd December, so we have decided to go out for Christmas dinner this year. It's not good to have to cook and stuff with an eye just out of bandages, plus all the preparation on Christmas Eve.. I know.. I know! I just bought a table.. but we have more family coming on Boxing day, so that will be our table's first outing.. Fingers crossed both the eye op and the table goes well. Sorry this a totally rambling post LOL!

^ How exciting to get new furniture! I finally got a (small) grip and put up some lights and I love it. Makes all the difference to wake up to a red star these dark days. I have a timer so they're lit when I wake up and when I come home.
