I'm going to love this EP! I love this song as well. It's so interesting to listen to all the way through, and the ending is beautiful.

I have a question for you guys with great ears--who is singing on the bridge? It's not just Chris, if it's Chris at all.

OK, I've answered my own question. Coldplaying put the video from The South Bank Show on Facebook, from when the boys were working with Brian Eno, Chris was not in studio (Eno had "kicked" him out). They showed them listening to the bridge of Aliens. I always forget what Will, Guy and Jonny sound like without Chris!

Update: Brian Eno is also on backing vocals. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with this!

No, that's cool to know! It's amazing that this song has been around that long, and I think the voices sound awesome!

I don't know if I can give it a rating because I honestly don't know how I feel about it. I've tried it 4 times and I can't find myself getting down with it. I won't say its terrible, but definitely my least favorite on the EP

And funnily enough, it's right up at the top with me, along with All I Can Think About is You....at this moment. I can't wait to get the whole EP is a cohesive piece.

I guess I'm just a little disappointed it didn't turn out to be this piano ballad from a sound check recently that was billed as something from the EP. But now I hope at least it's still a future work in progress.

Personally I really love this song, and really am looking forward to the direction they seem to be going in!
Although that ballad sounds lovely and I hope they do put it out.

Okay I've lightened up to it a little bit now. By far still my least favorite, but I can at least now say it's just okay
