Well, the time has finally come to say goodbye to the AHFOD Tour. I know the guys deserve a well-deserved break, but I can't help but be sad to know there are no shows on the horizon to look forward to seeing, and not knowing what's in store for the boys at the moment doesn't help. That being said, I know that those of us lucky enough to be able to see a show or few on this two-year long tour of love and happiness had the time of our lives. Thank you, CP, for being the humble, talented people that you are and for giving us this wonderful tour....and for just existing! I know I breathe it, and I know a lot of you do as well.
If you feel like sharing memories here, that's great, but if you feel like sharing some elsewhere as well, here are a couple of places:
https://www.instagram.com/p/BbgGIyIFDx3 As a thank you to the crew that have helped make this tour a great success, as part of their live blog, CP's twitter acct. has posted a series of clips from the crew called #AHFODCrewOut if you care to see them in the spoiler below.
Coldplay, the greatest band on the planet.

I propose we dedicate a week to looking back at the AHFOD era and tour. We can designate certain days to specific tour dates, gigs and songs. Maybe even have some polls and post videos? What do y'all think?

Sounds great.
I have to say that I'm feeling more sad today than yesterday. It's not that I went to shows every day or that I'm not happy they are getting some breathing room, but selfishly, I knew that they were there, that they were playing a show that we would get to see somehow and that they were generally visible and in our worlds in whatever way. Now it just seems sort of empty...

I saw the final hug and the Thankyou video from Atlas Project and I got verklempt. Such a wonderful era. I concur with Keaton's suggestion. I wore my second Coldplay tee shirt yesterday in observance.

I feel a bit empty inside, I know this is totally ridiculous and again I say that only fellow Coldplayers would understand. As Chris said, its the end of a chapter with surprises to come, we'll just have to be patient and wait for our wonderful band to return, but still feeling

I have not been dealing well with this at at all! Couldn't sleep last night watched videos of the tour and sobbed ! I was so fortunate to have seen this amazing band live three times in 2016 and three times this past summer. I am so grateful to witness the most amazing live show ever! I also got to meet two amazing people from here,Sharon and Row. I only wish we got to meet up again this past summer. Two years in a row we had something to look forward too!Words can't express the anticipation and excitement of all this. Like Karen said the emptiness is real!

I am sad as well. Yes, I’ve also seem them 4 times this tour, but would have loved more. And even if I couldn’t go, following everything happening is fine as well. Will miss them a big time.
Here is a beautiful recap of the tour made by CPing:

Fabulous. Sigh..
I've been through this three times now, the end of the MX tour, the GS tour and now this.. but this feels bigger.. the end of the first chapter as Chris said. Looking forward to whatever comes next. I KNOW it will be incredible.

Ooooooh..... I really can't believe it's over. They've been on tour most of the time I've been here, and then between GS and AHFOD we still all knew that there was a big tour coming soon. I don't like this "not being on tour" thing. Don't leave us guys!

I enjoyed the tour very much as well and I think that we should not see it as a not-on-tour period of time and more like a songwriting period It's the time where they find inspiration, when they get creative and record new songs. That's not too bad, is it?

You are right, Dustin. But we will still miss them.
This was the goodbye speech:
