I'm glad you enjoyed the concert despite everything! I felt that the atmosphere was different this time when we were queuing. People tended not to talk to each other and keep to themselves, and there was a lot of pushing in. It felt very different to previous years, maybe covid has changed things...but it was a bit of a shame. We did talk to a couple of people in the venue and afterwards, but the friendly people definitely seemed few and far between.

Hi guys! A few minutes ago, they told (on the radio news) that Coldplay is to release a tourdate for THE NETHERLANDS. There is a secret message in the videoclip of Humankind. It should be on the taxi in the vid... (referring to a gig in the Amsterdam Arena). Anyone who can confirm this? If it is true, it should be awesome!!!!!

festileaks.com/2022/08/coldplay-naar-johan-cruijff-arena-in-amsterdam-in-2023/Coldplay is coming to Amsterdam in 2023 as part of their Music of the Spheres Tour. They play in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in the summer. An exact date or information about ticket sales is not yet known. Coldplay released the clip for their new single 'Humankind' today. In the first 30 seconds of the clip, all kinds of countries, cities and venues pass by in a bird's eye view and in a cryptic way. These are most likely the places where their Music of the Spheres Tour will be in 2023. Amsterdam is one of the cities that can be seen in the clip, namely on a taxi driving around at 0:31 (see below). At the top right of the image, a number of icons can also be seen at the same time, which correspond to a script that Coldplay developed especially for their new record. If you decipher them, it will read: Johan Cruijff ArenA. Amsterdam can be seen on the taxi. In the top right corner you can decipher the blue letters under the red bar via this Music of the Spheres script. You then read: Johan Cruijff ArenA. Belgium Other cities featured in the video include Milan, Copenhagen and Zurich. The United States and Southeast Asia can also prepare for a visit from Chris Martin and co. A Belgian city is not spotted in the video. Coldplay are currently wrapping up the European leg of their tour for this year. Earlier this month, the British megaband broke a ticket record by playing four nights in Brussels, but the Netherlands was then skipped. It was already expected that they would make up for that in 2023. ticket sales Concrete information about these shows is not yet available; an official announcement is yet to follow. Then it will also be announced how many concerts the band will give and what a ticket will cost. But to give you an idea: the prices for Brussels in August 2022 were between 30 and 138 euros. Pitches went for 95 euros. In a mailing today, the band indicates that the official announcement about the 2023 tour is expected shortly. We will keep you informed.

Im glad you've all enjoyed your various gigs from lots of different places, lovely reading about them all
I'm going to mine on Tues, we couldnt get Wembley tickets so we're going to Scotland instead !! Tbh its not much difference in travel times, and as I've never been to Glasgow before we're having a couple of days there.....cannot wait
Seen lots about these secret messages and although I can't find it myself apparently Manchester has been seen, which is just down the road, excited for this and for the possibility of seeing them next year !!

Hope everyone enjoyed the most recent shows! Would love to hear about them! :-)
Anyone have any luck in the queues for the newly announced 2023 shows?
Crossing my fingers for more US dates.

I tried to get a ticket for Amsterdam for 17th or 18th July. It would have been my first concert outside Germany and my first trip to the Netherlands I was in the queue for 3,5 hours and ended up not getting a ticket. Other fans had the same problem as well. Ticketmaster really messed it up this time.

Ugh. That's awful. I don't know if it helps, but I didn't have a ticket to Paris and even though the shows sold out quickly, I was able to pick one up without any issue a month before the show. It might take time, but if you keep looking for resale tickets you might still be able to get one. I guess that doesn't help a whole lot if you have to plan travel ahead of time. I took a leap of faith with mine and it turned out ok.

Wow. Just wow. What an experience! I felt completely worn out just reading your story, and I'm sorry the whole experience getting to and from the show were miserable, much less adding c19 recovery on top of it. I'm sure seeing the guys in front of you for a little bit helped, at least for awhile. I've been on the floor and I've been in seats, and to be honest, I'm more cut out for seats these days as well, so don't feel bad. I do seek out seats just a few rows off of the floor though. But my body loves me for it! lol The amazing things are that you got to got to Paris (I would have gone sightseeing for sure as well) and you got to spend a whole month in London - despite the horrid temps. After speaking to Row about it several times, I know that kind of heat is really rough on those that don't normally have those temps and that don't normally have AC. Glad you are better! P.S. I've been dealing with shingles for the past couple of weeks. I never really thought about getting shingles, and they think it was set off by a sunburn I had (I haven't sunburned in probably 25 years or more.) The rash, thankfully, wasn't bad, but the nerve pains are SO painful. If you haven't and are able, get the vaccine! You don't want this.

Ooo, shingles is nasty Sharon, my youngest had it couple of months ago, very painful
So finally got to see our boys, had a bad journey getting to Glasgow, cancelled trains, so my daughter drove but then there was a bad accident which blocked the motorway. We diverted and finally got there. As we hadnt been to Glasgow before we spent the day doing bits, so got to the gig about an hour before they came on, and I have to agree Sharon, from now on *seating will be for me. We were to the side of the stage, but I couldn't see much, being short and having tall men standing in front !! thank God for the screens, and of course when Chris came over to the side. But the atmosphere was amazing, I sang my heart out, jumped and bounced, and paid for it for a few days lol My highlight was when we got next to the C-stage and they sang Sparks a couple of metres in front of me, such a moment' loved every minute of it, anyone who's still got their show to come, enjoy enjoy enjoy !!
* we couldn't get tickets either, will maybe try for resales nearer the time, very disappointing

Wish you well Sharon! Ticketmaster was a disaster indeed! At some point there were over 800.000 people waiting (for several hours) - only to find out that the tickets were sold-out. Even the extra date was sold-out in a sigh. In the Netherlands there was a special pre-sale on the tuesday before, and although that wasn't easy, I managed to get 4 tickets. So I will see our guys finally in juli 2023 again. Very happy

Congrats on the tickets, and I'm sorry to those that haven't been able to get them...yet. Hopefully you will be able to. Thanks for the well wishes. Again, I recommend the shingles vaccine to anyone able to get it. That's my PSA (public service announcement) for today. I always applaud a little louder when Chris thanks us for giving them their job and mentions the pains of getting to and from gigs, standing in line, etc. It's tough most of the time, but worth it, and it makes it extra sweet that they understand and appreciate it.

Unfortunately no, we tried for Manchester but they just went too quick Cardiff is just too far this time, a lot of money was spent seeing them in Glasgow last year, so I just have to count my blessings that I've seen them on this tour and a few times before .... sigh ...
Have an amazing time in Cardiff !!!
