This one is special to me because it started my journey as a fan. It was 2001, I was a 16 year old kid, bored at my job, when I heard this song come on the radio by my workstation. It was like nothing I had ever heard before. I perked right up, listened in. I had to know what band it was. Turns out it was Coldplay, and the song was Trouble. That's what started my now 13 years as a Coldplay fan. I will never forget that! ( Trouble is also my fav song off this album).

For me Parachutes is the hardest one to like. I do like it, but there are some songs on it, which I don't listen on the repeat mode.  |

Don't Panic was the first CP song I ever heard, back in the day, and I loved it so much. It's still in my Top 3 favorite CP songs.

This is the ONE!!!!! back in 1999, i used to record Dave Pearce on Radio 1 on tape! Whilst listening to that i stumbled on the show after his which was Steve Lamacq and he played Brothers and Sisiters by a band called Coldplay. i fell in love. This was before the day of the internet really doing much for bands so it was a few months before i heard Shiver played on the Mark and Lard show. It just cemented my love for the band. From then on i waited for the album to come out, being 15/16 years old it was the first band i really connected with. I used to be into dance music and a bit of Oasis and Blur but Coldplay really hit me. On the day of release I got the bus to the nearest record shop and bought Parachutes, i have never looked back...... it is flawless to me, 10 out of 10 until the day i die

It is not my favorite album, but I like very much. It is the third favorite album for me after Viva and Rush of Blood. I think one of the main reasons behind this album not being my favorite is because I only started to become really hardcore fan after the Viva album, and most of my favorites songs is on AROBTH and the "Viva era". But I think it is a beautiful album. I love Trouble, Sparks, We Never Change, Shiver, Spies and Everything is Not Lost.
