I am in the process of adding all the old original Coldplaying smilies to our forum. (thanks Batman). They will be available in the Quick Reply box. Right now I am pulling out my hair trying to find a good hosting site that does NOT change the file names, so that we have files which are called for example ::angry:: rather than ::keu5sdhkkske%%s6651:: which is kinda hard to remember!  There may be days / hours where they aren't available at ALL in the quick reply thread - when I am playing with them - but they will eventually return along with all the hair I will have pulled out!
In the interim, there will be two ways to add smilies, the drop down from both the quick reply and the thread starter boxes. Eventually I will merge the two and we will only have one way to add them.
If there are any smilies which you think would be good, then do feel free to post them here, or PM them to me. Not too big though please. I think some of the ones we have already are SLIGHTLY too big LOL. But I like them, so lets keep them. (so I am open to negotiation! ).

Would it be possible to get the actual emoji/smilies to show up rather than their names? I'm finding it difficult to know which one is which by just the name lol.

No probs  it's not JUST you who had that issue.  I am actually having issues myself with them, occasionally they won't post at all and I have to refresh the page? Anyone else have that issue? I am getting my 'tame geek' otherwise known as my long suffering husband, to look into the smilie issue today. I want it to post on the main create thread and reply posts too and right now it isn't. So hopefully he can help. I will keep you updated. |

OK, with Hannah's help and the help from the 'Helpdesk' we have worked smilies out! We now have double the amount. You can use the new ones in the quick reply, and ALL of the original, plus the new ones in the main Reply. There are a certain amount of 'doubles'. I will get around to removing those soon, but in the meantime we have lots.  |
