I am feeling the same. I really want to see them live and even more for this 'tour'. Love the music and love the ambience, not even to mention the ambience of RAH!
I do hope we all can go. That would be awesome! In about 3 weeks we know it.....

I've got something negative to say about the film but since I don't want to spoil those who enjoy it, I put my comment in a spoiler {Spoiler} I think the Ghost Stories film really sucks. I cannot remember to have seen worse camera work. The cameras go round and round and round and round and... it almost makes you dizzy, while the cutting was very weird at times as well. Especially the first songs were really awful to see for me because they switched the cameras too often. Why is there no static camera that gives you the time to orientate yourself and to process the visual information either? It's like you're on a train and you look out of the window and see what happens and notice that there is a Coldplay concert taking place but you cannot really connect to it because it is moving away. It's hard to get an impression of the atmosphere at the venue at all. In addition, the audience is pretty lame and a lot of people look like they are feeling uncomfortable. It looks like a loveless piece of film to me. I believe every BBC Glastonbury recording can beat this.

my take on it: {Spoiler} i agree with you to a certain extent. the direction wasn't that inspired. could have incorporated the immersion a whole lot more/better to improve the experience too. i didn't directly feel the need to watch it again, other than specifically true love, which says a lot. with this small an audience, the direction needs to be a lot different than say live 2012 (which was brilliant) and capture the viewer differently. i feel like even though the performances, stage setting were top notch, it failed to live up to its full potential. i only watched the nbc version. even though i have the complete recording with me now downloaded, still haven't watched it, because the cut version wasn't really impressive to begin with.

Thanks for sharing the 'Making of', Row! Guy is so talkative! And of course, Guy is in a leather jacket while jamming with the band, in his own house They look so close and connected, which is lovely to see.

The German channel Sat 1 took the Coldplay Special out of their broadcast schedule which means that it won't be shown this Saturday (I already wondered anyway, because Germany was not among the countries in the Coldplay.com list which will get the film at this point) but they might screen it in the future.

The only international channels I can watch are BBC world news, arte (a French-German tv channel) and CNN. Maybe the airing of the Special by Sat 1 was just postponed. It would be nice to watch it on tv but since there are better Coldplay films, it's not that much of a loss when I don't get to see it on a big screen. I think France 2 is currently screening it but I can't see it here in Germany www.france2.fr/direct
