There is no reason why after Jonny yelled, "Don't shoot! I've got money! Anything! Anything you want, just don't shoot!” that the bad guy couldn't have freaked out and said, "I would love to slaughter you right now because you used too many apostrophes!!" Right? Awesome Amelia!! Another drama filled story!

Dead Espionage Chapter fouuuuuuuuuuuuur {Chapter Four}The sound of the gunshots made Guy rush and press his ear against the door. His heart began to race as he heard Jonny's voice.
“What's up?” It was the teenager.
“I think that's my friend out there…”
“Oh… OK.”
“Are those guns?” the young girl asked.
“No darling. No, it'll be fine. We'll be out of here soon,” her mother replied. The girl just looked down at her feet and started swinging them.
“That doesn't sound good,” Guy groaned. “I hope they're alright.” He knew that something was going wrong. He could hear Jonny's muffled voice through the door, winding its way through the corridors with vicious intent. He sunk slowly to the floor and took out his phone. “Wait — no — wait — yes!” he said suddenly.
“What?” they all asked simultaneously.
“I've got wi-fi!”
“Contact someone!” one of them cried eagerly, before suddenly quieting down.
“I'll try, but don't get your hopes up. I don't know if it'll work.”
He gingerly went on to his emails. Several unread messages. Never mind, it was too late for that now. He quickly wrote an email to Anchorman detailing the situation.
“And… send!”
“Who did you tell?” the young woman said.
“Our… my… urr… um… friend,” he murmured quickly.
--------------------
Chris lay with his head glued firmly to the ground, still and unmoving. Will wasn't moving either. By now, it was dark, and he could hardly see anything.
“Will?” he whispered quietly. “Will! Are you asleep?”
“Hmm?” said Will. “No, I'm awake.”
“Do you think it's safe to move?”
“I don't know! Shouldn't the police be here by now?”
“Apparently not. I've been listening to that TV screen round the corner for hours now. They want to find a diplomatic solution.”
“What? Idiots.”
Will closed his eyes for a few seconds and then opened them again. His brain told him to stay still at all costs. But he knew that he'd have to do something about this at some point.

Dead Espionage Wow I'm sorry nothing is happening in this story. I can tell I'm on the verge of having writer's block but I'm not quite there yet.{Chapter Five}Will half-crawled, half-dragged himself across the floor, Chris following behind him. The area seemed clear — tranquil perhaps — even though they were out in the open.
“Where the hell is everyone?” whispered Chris.
“Hiding! There's terrorists running around!”
They were behind a wall again now, and they briefly stopped and took a few deep breaths. They both felt the life float in and out of them as they were swamped in darkness.
Will gave the signal to Chris for them to carry on.
They continued, much quicker this time, going along corridors and in and out of shops. It took a huge amount of effort not to hit something and get caught, but it paid off, and by the time they stopped again, they'd travelled a long way away from their start point.
Wait.
That sound.
What was it?
Chris could swear it sounded like whispers — and there were several of them too.
“Will! I think there's some people in here!”
There was some hesitation before they both slowly tapped on the door beside them.
Silence emanated from the room.
“Let us in,” said Will.
More whispers.
Eventually, they heard some movement and the door was opened. The two of them were practically pulled into the cupboard.
“Guy!” they both said simultaneously.
“Wait, I know where you lot are from!” said the middle-aged man. “You're… wait, aren't there four of you?”
“We don't know where Jonny's got to. Or Phil, for that matter,” replied Guy.
“Phil? Who's -”
“Look, we'll explain later,” Will cut in. “We've got to get out.”

Dead Espionage The plot thickens… finally… {Chapter Six}The open door let a narrow stream of light flood out into the hallway. The group — there were eight of them now — scuttled out through the opening and lay themselves flat against the wall. Will led them out of the maze of shops and back into the open space in front of check-in.
“We've got to go all the way over there, then we can use the ventilation system to escape. It's the only way,” whispered Will.
They all stopped and thought for a while.
“Ok then, we'd better hurry up,” replied Chris, tiptoeing across the room as the others followed. Every few moments, someone would freeze on the spot and look around quickly.
“Just keep moving,” Guy told them each time.
Eventually — and with a great deal of relief — they reached the other side. There were several deep breaths as they all searched for the air vent.
“Here it is!” said the girl, prompting several rounds of ‘shhhh’ from the others.
Will and Chris got to work, trying to take out all of the screws.
The grating fell to the floor with a rather loud ‘clunk’ sound, and they climbed in one by one.
The system was only big enough for one at a time. The smaller ones amongst them could crawl on all fours, but most of the adults had to go on their stomach again. The metal walls reflected each of their faces back at them like ghostly apparitions bent out of shape.
The journey was long, and there were several points that they almost broke the entire system and fell through the ceiling.
“It must've been more than an hour by now!” cried someone from behind Will.
“We've just got to keep going until we find an exit,” he replied. Just as he did so, something rattled beneath him, and they moved swiftly onwards.
It was only fifty metres or so until Will saw it. It was another grating leading into a room. The room had white walls, a desk and several computers.
But, more importantly, it had two people in it.
“Chris… I think that's Jonny and Phil in there.”
“What?” said Chris.
“Look, I've got to go and investigate.”
“I'm coming too… you don't know what could be down there!”
“You two go, I'll carry on with this lot,” offered Guy.
They only had to kick the grating a few times before it fell out.

Two chapters, awesome!
You have such a good way of telling a story Amelia. "The metal walls reflected each of their faces back at them like ghostly apparitions bent out of shape." Great story telling!

Dead Espionage I have a cold and decided to use my time productively I wrote this while listening to the new album… {Chapter Seven}The fall to the floor was unexpectedly long. A few seconds were stretched into hours.
“What on earth happened here?” said Will, pointing to Phil's (still bleeding) leg.
“He's been shot,” replied Jonny.
Will looked around the room. It was mostly stark white and blinding. There were no windows — just an opaque door on the opposite wall.
“How did you guys get in here anyway?” Jonny asked.
“We went through the air vents,” said Chris. By now both him and Will were walking around the room — looking under desks, tapping computer keyboards and scanning the floor.
Suddenly, Chris found something of use.
---------
“A coffee mug?” said Jonny, his face falling.
“No, Jonny. Something very different. Several coffee mugs,” Chris replied.
“That's not going to work.”
----------
It did work.
Just about.
The shards of shattered mug rained down as the man fell to the floor.
“See?” said Chris.
“Come on, we've got to keep moving,” said Will wearily. Phil was slung over his shoulder, occasionally trying to speak but only succeeding in coughing uncontrollably.
Chris picked up the man's gun and pointed it a window on the other side of the room that they'd now moved into.
“How does this work?” he said, fiddling about with the various parts of the mechanism. Suddenly, it fired and an entire pane of glass disappeared.
Alarms went off all around the building. They buzzed like a mosquito, drilling into their ears.
“Quick! Over here!” shouted Will over the noise, running behind a wall.
