I am watching SNL, and Coldplay was just confirmed on air as the musical guest on May 3rd! That also means they will do promos the week leading up to the show as well. I was so excited to see it that I got up and ran circles then straight here. Good thing the hub knows I'm crazy already.  |

That's sad. Saturday Night Live (or SNL) is an American late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show aired on NBC. It's also one of the longest-running network television programs in the United States. They usually have a different guest celebrity host and musical act in every episode. Woohoo. Prissie look up Coldplay SNL on YouTube. Some of the most hilarious sketches have had Chris in. We don't have it here either, but hopefully some nice person or other will tape it for us!

Great news! I think we get SNL just a week after America nowadays (used to be 6 months after  ). Was half asleep last night, a musical theatre artist named Anna hosted, must check if that was broadcast a week ago in America. I remember some really funny sketch with Chris from SNL. Youtube... |

Anne Hathaway, who is an actress in all kinds of movies, did indeed host last week, so you are one week behind! I will do my best to tape it and get it uploaded here. Chris was in a skit the last time he was on, and he was stellar, and the band even took part in a snipet themselves. I'm SO looking forward to this. I'm sure they will play 'Magic' and the other song is anyone's guess. If ASFOS comes out May 5th as rumored, maybe that one? Maybe they will stick with a favorite and go with Viva. I don't know, but I am excited! And SNL has AWESOME pics of the band. Here's a couple promos they did the week before last time. SNL Promo
Here's the Thanksgiving skit Chris did. (The other two with him are recurring characters who try to convince the news anchor they have written songs but they make everything up as they go along. fyi.) Chris Skit
The boys got involved in a snipet skit as well where they were crying over an Adele song, but I can't find my video right now.  And SNL has some of the best pics. Love this Buckin' one - can they get any closer?

Oh it was Anne Hathaway last week, I must have been more than half asleep lol. Thank you! Haha those promos, haven't seen them before. And the buckin pic  I'm really looking forward to this too. Andrew Garfield was also on their last SNL episode, he had a cameo during the monologue. I watched the episode on Netflix (even though they cut out the songs), Andrew and the band seem to get along during the goodbyes at the end of the show.
