So horrific! I can't stop thinking about it being a mother like Sharon said. My heart breaks for all the victims and their families. Hoping all our UK friends on here and their families are safe! Glad to hear Karen and daughters are safe. I hope as we all do, this atrocity stops now. There seems to be no safe place in the world right now. I can also imagine how this must affect every singer or band now going on tour!

I really feel for Ariane. She is so you g. No one should every go through this, but such a young girl. She cancelled the remaining tour. I hope she will keep singing. Not a fan, but this evil can't win.
I need to say this one hit me hard. Every attack is bad and shocking, but this one hurts. Not only because of what Sharon said, but also because my upcoming trip to Cardiff. It wont stop me, but I am more affraid then before. Hubby and I are going to Cardiff together and leaving Emma at home with her grandparents. If something happens....

Prissie I fully understand how you feel, there will be extra security in place and searches will be more thorough, we have to go on otherwise 'they' have won
Some of you may have seen on my fb page that my Kirsty was given a red rose with a heart Manchester label by her taxi driver, he had been one of those on the night giving free lifts to people, its this kindness we must remember, we have to have hope
At the Cardiff gig Prissie we will celebrate together that we have the freedom to go to concerts and live our lives, we have to do it for those who cannot anymore x

:( If I think too much about it all I cry. Those poor poor kids and their families. Beyond belief. I also feel sorry for Ariana Grande. What a terrible thing to happen. :(

That is very well written and she is so right
My first concert at that age was to see David Cassidy in London, I was head over heels in love with him and I can still remember the excitement of seeing my hero along with hundreds of other girls
As well as those killed and seriously injured there will be thousands absolutely traumatised by these events, I hope they all get the help they need, this could affect them for the rest of their lives
God I hate those b*****ds, sorry but the anger increases every day that we see more names and faces of those lost, and hear more about those still fighting in hospital

I'm so, so very angry as well Karen and I just can't comprehend this evil. I try to understand, I know in my head that good and evil have to both exist in our universe, but I just can't understand this in my heart at all.

It's beyond comprehension. I spoke of hated in a prior post, and it's just increased since this latest atrocity.
On another note, I adored David Cassidy as well - his was the first album I ever bought. I can imagine it would have been a very similar concert with so many young people.
So sad.
