I can only really afford the gallery...circle at a push. I can understand that the photo id thing (and only 2 tickets per customer) is to try and stop ticket touts, but it's a bit of a pain. I don't particularly like taking my passport to gigs! Anyway, that's assuming I get a ticket....keeping eveything crossed.

The restrictions are ludicrous. Yes, I understand what they are trying to accomplish, but it's pushing it to the limit I think. That means a parent couldn't buy their son/daughter a ticket with a friend or that someone couldn't buy a ticket as a surprise for someone's special occasion, etc. I don't know what the solution would be, but it just seems overboard.

i have been to a couple of photo id gigs recently, arcade fire twice and muse, i wasn't asked for the photo id at any of them, just the card used to pay for the tickets that they printed a reciept. Not to say they won;t ask for this gig but it always seems they get so busy that it just saves time. Is anyone even contemplating box seats?!?!

No, I don't think I will. Those are really expensive!

Wait a minute.. Does this mean that if my dad buys a ticket with his credit card (because I don't have one and will be at school) he has to come with me?

just re-read the t's and c's on gigsandtours, it doesn't mention anything about the payment card on there so hopefully they won't do it and its just id for the name on the tickets

I hope not Hannah because that WOULD be stupid! If your Dad buys you the ticket, makes sure he sends a letter with you, saying you are authorised to use the tickets. I am hoping that will be sufficient! I actually might call Gigs & Tours and actually ASK them in person if this is what it means, because I am certain a lot of fans won't have credit cards in their names. That is if I can actually talk to a person! Most of these places have automated call systems. But I will give it a try on Monday and see what happens.

Also.. do we think they will be playing 'In The Round' In the Arena part of the place.. and using the set up from the LA gig ? With the 360 Stage etc? The stars the backdrops ? If so it might go some way to justify the ticket costs.

I hope so. Chris mentiondd in the interview with Zane they 've created a simular stage like RAH in LA. Makes me think they want to play in the round.

Yes I am pretty sure they will, but maybe using the several million dollar stage set up which they used in LA for London?

Well, I hope they do! Like you said, it will justify the ticket prices. But I have this feeling RAH wont let them do crazy stuff like that...

I think they would let CP pretty much do what they want to do. It's not a bad promotion for the RAH when CP play there

No, you are right, Dustin, but it would be a major change of the atmosphere. And I am seriously doubtung if they will let even Coldplay do that.

But they sell arena seats, so then they can't play in the round right? Oh man this is confusing

Chris said in the Zane interview they picked RAH so they could play it in the round, which just means they are playing it in the center of the room with the seats going all the way around them. I can't imagine that they'd use the $14 million set he mentioned that they used for the Sony shows, which were held in a soundstage which I think he said sat 900 people. But this band constantly surprises us, which makes me happy, and if they did, it would be awesome. I just wish everyone good luck!
