In my opinion, it's a good idea to go ahead and do this if you think you are far enough away that the mail won't reach you in the week before the concert. My tickets for the Under 1 Roof concert were the same way. Being in the States, the lack of updates from G&T was unnerving, so I finally just asked them to make them available for pickup and got the same e-mail as above. They wait to mail them to hold down reselling or any questionable behavior (and eventually, I think they send an e-mail telling you pick them up anyway if you are far enough away), but I felt so much better finally knowing my tickets were safe. Of course, at the venue, we waited for an hour and 15 minutes to pick up our tickets. It was irritating, but it's CP, so it was worth it! I held back so much of my excitement for NYC because I wasn't sure how tickets were going to go for anyone else and I didn't want to be rude, but now that the excitement is out for so many, I feel that I can finally show some excitement for NYC! So.... It's nice to see the excitement!! You're going to LOVE it!! edit: LOL, Anita! There you go!

Sharon, where they also available only an hour before the doors opened? (that's the case now, right?) Where there a lot of people queueing to pick up tickets?

I should not have added that last line because it was a different venue and different situation, so I'm sure that it will be fine. I will say that they told me the box office at the Hammersmith Apollo would open at 4:00 p.m. to pick up tickets, and they let us in around 5:00 and we stood there for over an hour. It wasn't funny at the time, but looking back, it was humorous to see Row go to the window and give them a hard time because of it. LOL! Then it was a mad dash to the restroom to freshen up (we had been outside on the sidewalk in the cold since 6 a.m. - around 12 or 13 hours at that point), store our stuff and check it at the coat closet. Memories. ANYWAY, all was well, but again, different venue.

memories.. Oh 6.30 for collection.... I hope it won't take too long to pick up. I am hoping mine will be sent soon! I got some tickets today for another gig I am going to on 10th July and I thought it was my Coldplay tickets at first... sigh.. It should only take a day to get to me I guess if they send them first class.. but even so, feeling very slightly nervous now. Edit G&T say 5% of tickets have been despatched.

OK, the guy on Cping just posted that he has sold the 2 tickets - I don't know to whom but not to me :( I think my only chance now will be to hope for someone with spare tickets at the venue. *sigh* On a more positive note: I have rebooked anyway Prices were okay and the idea of anbother day in London seemed more and more attractive plus I got my thursday-classes covered. So at least I will have more time in that great city - concert or not.

Ahw man, that sucks. I thought we'd have this one in our pocket... Yeah there have to be more people with a spare or someone who can't go at the last minute. If I were lucky twice, you'll be lucky once. At least.

I am glad we can stop looking! I had 2 stalls for Jelena - only needed to pay with Paypal but wasn't sure about her last name. Clock tickking... Whatsapping with Hanna (in blind panic haha) and then time was up.... brr it was sooo stessfull. But I am happy and relieved that Jelena (and Raphaele I assume) can go now!!
