This is exactly the video that can be seen in the official ASFOS video and when you take a look at that specific scene there is an error message popping up while that alternate videos is playing in the background (looks like Win7 window). That's probably why they had to move to another scene so quickly? To be honest, I don't like both videos so much. The official one doesn't fit to the song and the alternate version misses some artistic ideas. It's nice to watch, but a bit boring and I think we have some persons on this forum who would be better directors  Anyway, great find! |

I love it! I love the effects on the floor, and I think the visuals are intriguing. Plus, it has a lot of the 'hand over the heart' that I love so much  . I think both videos are great! |

I like the alternative one better. I love Coldplay when they are surrounded by things that are "other worldly."

Wow I did not think we'd ever get to see that one!!! I have to say that I like the other one better though, maybe just because I've watched it more times? I don't know. I think it captures the happy feel of the song and I love love love the confetti and the cheering at the end, and how Chris (and the whole band) just looks so darn happy. And I like how he "finds" the band, kind of like Paradise and the alt of Viva.

I love the happiness in the official video, and the shirt, the arms etc. But I think the alternative video fits more and I love all the techniques. I wonder why they choose to shoot another one.

Row uploaded the alternate video to the first post a couple of days ago. It's under video. The more I watch it, the more I love it. I also watched the MTV Video Countdown on my DVR again last night where he talks about doing the video and not getting it quite right, but I think it's amazing. Not that I don't like the one they put out - it's fun and he's in his element with his fans and being very happy which makes it so wonderful for him. And the fact he's wearing a tank top makes it wonderful for us. I think that one probably captures the happy feel they were looking for, but I really do like both. |

Thanks for sharing. I like the vid, but mostly because I love the song so much. This one is more empty, and clean. The street version is so spontaneous and much more happy. But I have to admit that i don't like all the cell phones taking pictures in that clip....
