VERY true. Mine is off somewhere in Devon tonight.. He went camping on his trip today. I haven't heard a peep out of him all day, so either there is no signal (quite likely if they are out in the wilds of North Devon) or he is having fun (I hope!). I got a call last night, saying he felt ill and the dormitory he was sleeping in was like a shed! :( But he didn't sleep the night before he left, and they had a seven hour coach trip on the way down! HOW on earth it took that long I have no idea. You could go to Devon and back again in that time from here. But he said he would be OK.. and as mentioned I have not heard from him all day. Kids. Even when they aren't with you, you worry! Someone once said to me, 'Having children is like having a bit of yourself roaming around on it's own, and there is NOTHING you can do to stop it.'

Well, I think 16 years is the age they let you know they arrived save, but have a lot of fun and 'forget' you for the time being. To much fun, and it's not cool to call your mom Try to not worry to much. If there is something wrong, the guiders will let you know.

Prissie, I'm sorry you had to sell the piano. But having a baby sounds exciting! I'm so happy for you. Row I'm sure they think of you all the time. They never forget who raised them and helped them create a life of their own. Found this in my backpack.

Thanks I am sure he will find a way to let me know if there are any problems, you're all right, thank you. No news is good news I am sure. Clarity? Should that mean something Keaton? Apologies if I am being a bit dense today.

I can imagine a bit how you feel Row. It must be hard to 'not know for sure' and I know that you are thinking of him a lot. Maybe you can see it as an rehearsal for when he lives on his own. I am hoping there comes a time you will worrie less and less. Maybe when you are used to not having him around you all the time. And that you know he will do fine without direct contact. That said: I am not there at all: our two gentlemen (9 & 10) are having their ...th sleepingparty this summer. Allong with their nieces & nephews they stayed in my brothers' house - and that is a lot of fun!! But it is different for me: it is SO quiet now in our house. It is my last vacation day - tomorrow I go to work again and it is so strange they are not here. I just miss them. Even the dogs do miss them. My flock is just not complete....

Apologies if I am being a bit dense today. You know I'm not quite sure either. Its something to think about. Oh no worries Row! You're being awesome, as Chris would say.

LOL! Still no news from my son. But I am hoping he is having a good time. I know what you mean Anita. It feels weird coming home from work to an empty, and CLEAN house LOL!

Awh Anita, I'm sure they are fine and miss you a bunch.
Hoping he has a good time. Well that's good, right?
Feeling like I wanna drop all my classes and take fire courses and EMT courses. I know what I wanna do but it requires a helluva lot more gym time..
