Yay!! I'm glad it worked out! I actually went through some virus issues myself not too long ago, and to think of not having a computer is unthinkable!

Oh good! So much crazy stuff out there. Adware, viruses, extensions that attach themselves.. Computers are so necessary to us, but they are so vulnerable.

Augh I know...the funny thing is I have a laptop and a desktop, but at the same time the laptop got this weird extension bug and the desktop had a keyboard fail. So I could get on the desktop, but then I had to type hunt and peck using the mouse with the onscreen keyboard. Grrr. Well they're both working again for now anyway!

Oh that must have been annoying!
My laptop is connected to a large monitor, and I use it mainly connected at a desk. It's getting very long in the tooth now.. and I guess at some point I have to consider a replacement. But do I get a desktop or a laptop? That is the question....

It's nice having both. My desktop is connected to my tv so I mainly use it as a media center just to store music or large files and to play media through my tv.

I like having two screens! I am greedy.  I use them both, with the laptop as my additional screen. It's great because I can watch videos full screen whilst chatting in the other screen. Or browsing the internet. So I am thinking a laptop is the best way forward. Plus if I do travel it comes with me. |
