The award show is in Cannes on Dec 13th and will be broadcasted on NRJ and TF1 (Télévision Francaise 1). Website is working now. Coldplay is nominated for best international group "Groupe/duo international de l'année".
You vote by click on "votez" for you favourite, then on "valider" (next to the category). International votes only with a Facebook account if I understand correctly. French votes also with a phone number.

They are up for International Song of the Year too. You have to sign in with your facebook account to vote. There is a little thing that pops up next to the category, which says validate, and it then lets you sign in via facebook. Unless you happen to have a French phone number, then you can do it that way.

I can't get it to play either.

Too bad it's not a live performance. I wonder if that means they didn't win anything (voting closed 7 Dec I think) or if it's just usual on French TV to pre-record? If they did win and are there it seems strange to not play live. We'll find out tonight |

i read somewhere that chris id performing miracles at a lunch on the 14th in LA for an unbroken promo. maybe scheduling had something to do with them not being there live.
