Yeah. You never know. At least I can go home and watch their perfomance live on tv even if I am not successful. In the case that I meet them, I would ask for a photo and autographs on my Parachutes vinyl copy. "dreaming"

It will be broadcasted live on Sat 1 at 8:15 pm. It's a private TV channel. Unfortunately, I cannot record it in HD but I will record it in standard quality.

It's a bit complicated to find a live stream for the show. If you go to this site and click on "Livestreams" on Friday, you should be able to watch it live. connect.sat1.de/#hideHowever, there might be restrictions when watching it from other countries. I highly doubt that Sat 1 own the international rights to make their programme available everywhere in the world. I guess you need a good proxy. Another way of watching it live might be the voice of germany's my video page. www.myvideo.de/Themen/the-voice-of-germany-liveLast option - and this might work everywhere without a proxy (maybe check now) - would be to watch it from a website that provides an UNOFFICIAL Sat 1 stream. There are a couple of commercials that pop up if you open the site though. The stream comes from Sat 1 Switzerland but apart from the Swiss adverts you see in between and during the shows, the programme is identical to Sat 1 Germany. www.live-stream.tv/online/fernsehen/sat1.html#tab2-tab |

Thanks for that, Dustin. I can see a few German tv-stations, but it doesn't include Sat1. Will try the streams at home. I can use a proxy, so I hope that will work!

I wrote to Sat.1 to ask for the time when rehearsals for the show will start on Friday. Here is what they replied:

Unfortunately, we cannot mention a time. However, it's definitely going to be in the afternoon / evening.

I would have thought that Coldplay would arrive in Berlin in the morning? It's probably just one song (A Sky Full Of Stars) which they are going to perform but don't you think that they would arrive earlier for rehearsals and stuff? It would be great to know when Coldplay arrive but there doesn't seem to be any information about it :( It's damn cold in Germany and if I can save some time standing outside, I will.

I know from a friend who was in the studios to see the Voice of Germany battle round in August this year that she wasn't allowed to do anything from 1pm - 6pm (5 hours!). She couldn't bring her mobile phone, no food, no drinks and they weren't allowed to go to the toilet LOL Now that kind of sucks.
It was not live though which is a different thing, of course. For tv, 2 episodes were produced and screened from that session. I am just thinking that it might be best to turn up there aroud 1 pm. What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea. That could be the rehearsel times for the guests. Go for it, Dustin! Let one of us be lucky Take some warm coffee or hot chocolate with you to make it through the waiting time. I am done working, so I will join you through the board. |
