So what are you listening to when you're not listening to Coldplay? Is it The Doors or is it One Direction... Don't lie. But what I actually want is for someone to recommend me some good bands to listen to?

Well personally I am listening to Passenger, Little Lights. But I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Oh I love Passenger! I think I've listened to his album a bit too much actually. I just got a new Bombay Bycicle Club and I need to put it on my iPod. Anyone listened to that one?

I haven't listened to the new Bombay Bicycle Club album yet but I do like the single very much!
Lately I've been listening A LOT to James Bay, especially 2 songs from his new Demos EP, Collide and If You Ever Want To Be In Love. Lovely lad. AND, most of the songs of the EP are available to download for free on Soundcloud! So that's pretty cool. Otherwise, I've been listening to Kimberly Anne's Hard as Hello, Arctic Monkeys (especially No1 Party Anthem and I Wanna Be Yours, from AM), Instant Crush by Daft Punk (ft Julian Casablancas from The Strokes), oh and Brutal Hearts by Bedouin Soundclash (ft Béatrice Martin/Coeur de Pirate)...

AWOLNATION (hadn't known about them until someone on my Facebook liked them), Foster the People (I recommend to listen to their new song 'Coming of Age' and of course their older songs), Lorde. That's pretty much my playlist lately

Lately...there seems to be a lot of bells - Broken Bells and Howling Bells. I've been listening to some Of Monsters and Men and The National. A friend of mine sent me some stuff by Iko, and I'm just starting to listen to some of it. I really like Mute Math. And for some reason, I've been going back in time just a bit and have dusted off Vertical Horizon's Everything You Want or Toad the Wet Sprocket's Dulcinea.

Marble Sounds, Holding On For Life by Broken Bells, Instant Crush by Daft Punk, Hopeless Wanderer by Mumford and Sons, Promises of No man's land by Blaudzun (sounds Arcade Fire-ish) and this particular version of The Racing Rats

Tnx for all the info guys. I have all day tomorrow free and I plan to listened all of these you've recommended and I don't know about them. And that version of "Icarus" is amazing. I love Bastille and Dan Smith sounds amazing doing acoustic versions.
