I find it interesting that there isn't any single artwork for "Magic." They're using the Ghost Stories artwork. This isn't a common thing for Coldplay; in fact, it may be a first. I wonder what the reasoning is.

What if, they decided to eschew releasing singles altogether? All we get is the album, take it or leave it.

We coldplay fans knew coldplay was into rnb since long time ago (alicia keys, justin timberlake). It took them until viva and mylo xyoloto to see that influence (paradise, rihanna, up in flames and of course all the rap collabs). I think coldplay is good at it, and magic proves it.

It would certainly shorten the era; we would forgo a lot of excitement, but also a lot of waiting. Sadly, I think the music industry is moving more toward singles than full albums, though I doubt that this will ever affect Coldplay's album cycle model.

Single artwork here... ... and it is just as cool! Awesome! I love the bird/wings theme. MX really DID end with us going "Up With The Birds!"

Is the image an indicator of the expected themes in the video? A magician with a pigeon emerging (from a hat/coat), playing cards, a damsel, etc.?
D'aww, the girl and guy are holding hands!
