I've had SO MANY 42's today. Every time I looked at the clock.. .42... When I filled up with petrol this morning it cost me £50.42.. My heart rate on the machines at the gym today was 142 when I looked. And just now I had 42 unread tweets. Weird.

Just watched Live 2012. As brilliant as ever. Makes me realise why I love this band so much <3

Just had one of those life affirming moments. Sat listening to Lovers in Japan and thought, "God, I just really love Coldplay."

My bst friend, who was at the first Coldplay show I was at, and with whom I share so many memories of shows, told me yesterday that she doesn't really care about them anymore. Not that she likes or doesn't like the new songs. She can't be bothered even listenning to them. I've never understood that in people since I mate for life with music I love.:(

I have gone through periods of which bands I enjoy the most--Duran Duran (ok, I was 13), The Beatles and then Crowded House. I still like all of them but my allegiances have switched to Coldplay. I think I will be a Coldplay fan for life.

This is sad Tracie. I still love the music I grew up with, I might not listen to it as much, but it's still good. Like Kitty says however, I think this Coldplay 'thing' won't ever go away.. it's totally different. I love it so much and cannot imagine life without it.

I agree, it's a weird thing that I cant describe or understand really. I've loved many bands/singer's over the years and have many favourite songs ranging from The Monkees ( yes I'm that old! ) to Muse BUT coldplay just have this place in my heart that I know will never be replaced. We're a special species coldplayers that's for sure ha ha

Agreed 100%. I have always loved music and still do. We have a lot, but I agree, this is one that will never be replaced or fade away. It's here for life.

I don't know what to make of this....
OMG if it's true.
Who knows if it is.
But if it is, OMG.
Maybe it was GP?
