Wow, had a really busy day today and you all kept this place going. Great. Can't tell how much I love that! Thank you for saying this! Sometimes I'm afraid people think I'm trespassing when I do something they usually do. I'm NOT saying I kept the place going, I just started a thread, but you know what I mean I hope Just read this now, think I still have a lot left to read from yesterday. It was a busy day lol.

Why they hate them so much? Coldplay is known for their emotional songs. People find it cool to have no emotion. Also, Coldplay have become big. It's cool to hate mainstream things, you know Just don't bother with it.

That article raises lots of good points. If people hate them so much then why are they wasting their energy hating on them?

Just because everyone needs something to hate.

I do tend to agree, I also think the terrific HATE people have towards certain bands and CP in particular seems to stem from some underlying insecurities they have about themselves.
It's also something (that I am aware of myself anyway) that you tend to grow out of as you get older. I think the writer of the article made some good points, it is about being 'Cool' and being seen to be and as you get older, being cool becomes less important than being 'you'. I remember passionately hating some music growing up, 'It's not MY genre' and I didn't even take the time to listen. Hearing them now, as a more mature person, I can appreciate and even enjoy it.
Music is like all art, it's a personal, very personal thing.

Dont you think it would be awesome if they had a official fan club? I know some bands do this where you pay a membership fee and in return you usually get a shirt, exclusive contests, and being able to buy concert tickets before everyone else. I definitely would anyone else like this idea? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
