Ahhh.....Christmas lights, right up there on my list of favorites.
Saw the VLV tour twice, MX twice, and our wonderful administrator nailed the excitement to a T....... musically, for me, VLV was what introduced me to the band/fandom in earnest, so it will always be the best in that sense - but for sheer, wild, heart-pumping joy, the MX tour had to be the best shows of any sort, in any genre, that I have ever been lucky enough to attend. And the Xylobands WERE a large part of it - they set the stage, so to speak, and when they lit up at the beginning of the show, I swear there wasn't one person in attendance who didn't feel like a little kid who was just plopped down in a magical fairyland. Even the most cynical person would have felt his heart skip a few beats. You just knew you were about to witness something so happy and joyous and unmatched. But when you thought your heart would burst from excitement, things just kept getting better. It really is hard to explain - the dvd does it justice, especially for anyone who couldn't attend - but you just had to be there. I can't imagine topping it (but I sure hope they try for LP7). Sounds trite, I know, but I was just so THANKFUL to the band and Phil for staging it for us fans and looking incredibly happy to be doing it.
They are a special bunch.

I just wish we had all been able to see it. First hand. All of it. All the tours. We need a time machine. Anyone know how to build that?  Yes time to get Christmas lights out and play it. I did that today! Although I have to admit to playing it all the year, because it is one of my favourite songs. |

was listening to jamelia's see it in a boy's eyes today. possibly one of the best collaborations CM did outside of his genre.

I saw a tweet from xylobands they are preparing a big event in Scotland. The awards are in Glasgow....

Tonight are the MTV awards. Coldplay is on the list for 'Best Rock' award. It will be at 9 pm UK time. I saw a tweet from xylobands they are preparing a big event in Scotland. The awards are in Glasgow.... Oh wow sweet! I saw this in the tv listings for tonight and wondered if I should watch it just in case, so now I will watch it for sure. Awesome!!!!! |

Jason is the one who designed the xylobands together with Coldplay. We know that he is making them for other occassions too.
But him being in Glasgow, preparing for a big event, could mean only one thing in my eyes: Coldplay will perform tonight.
Maybe I am wrong, but I haven't see an other artist using the xylobands...

By the way: why do the female artists think they have to be almost naked on stage these days?
