LOL on Up in Flames. Your new spouse is clearly trying to tell you something.
Had I known about the song in 2001, I would have used "Careful Where You Stand."

I would never peg Fix You for a wedding, but I guess they love the song. I used 'We've Only Just Begun' by The Carpenters as one of the songs at my wedding, haha!

Nooo... the song they love was played after Fix You, still in the church: Umbrella. People can play whatever songs they like, but this was a royal wedding. Official state business. I better not comment further on this wedding

If I ever get married, I would love to use Always In My Head for the bride/groom dance. Here's to hoping my future wife was a Coldplayer too, that would probably make things easier

I think you should definitely set your standards VERY high and aim for a Coldplayer, ha! Even if not, make sure they love you enough to let you pick a song for the wedding. (Good to see you btw!)

Fix you is a weird choice indeed, well kind of...
Yellow for me remains one of the most beautiful songs by Colplay. (maybe even suitable for a wedding one?) I'm not big on romantic songs but it's just so special and unique in my opinion.

Speaking of Fix You, this is my favourite cover of the song. Sung by Marit Larsen (one of my favourite female singers). How do you like it?

I like it! She's got a unique voice, and she evidently has good taste in music. The son of a friend got married, and his bride walked down the aisle to an acoustic instrumental version of Yellow, and it was really nice.

It's great to be back! ^_^ I was going through a sort of down time, but rest assured I still got my healthy dose of Coldplay, as well as watching Ghost Stories turn 1, Viva turning 7 and X&Y turn 10.

We must have some Coldplay fans working with TV productions here. Their music is used on all kinds of programs so often. Sometimes I just have the TV on in the background, waiting for something to start, and there's a song. Just yesterday it was O. I hadn't listened to it in a while, made me so happy Can't remember which program it was, but I do remember which song

(?) There's nothing to see, it's just a song in the background.

I see on one of the Wiki Coldplay pages that "42" was originally named "Thought You Might Be A Ghost". I'm glad they changed it, "42" is so much better.

I remember Paradise was used in a promo for the movie "Life Of Pi" a few years back.

Yes! And my husband claimed that's the only reason I wanted to see the movie, haha!
