Had a loverly 9 days in Portugal, with daily temperatures around 86 (US) and 30 (EU). Came back yesterday late in rain, half the temperature above and a lot of wind.
Will keep fingers crossed the hurricane will stay on the sea.

It's been a BEAUTIFUL day. Can't believe it's October. We had a chilly start, but it got fantastic. Not baking hot, but warm and blue blue skies. I love this. It can stay all winter as far as I am concerned! LOL!

Sunny earlier then turned to rain also. All week will be warm,after a few days of cooler weather-so not ready to give up summer clothes for jackets and boots!

Hurricane Matthew has made a mess of the eastern seaboard, and it still churns on. Hopefully it will go out to sea soon and people can start putting things back together. As for here, it's a bit rainy, but that should move out. Next week looks great.

I hope it goes quick Sharon, I know how worried you get about, well you know...  We are in the middle of undecided weather. Its either autumnal, or springlike. Today the sun was out and it was lovely, now its clouded over. Ah well.. It's October and for England we have actually had a nice summer! |

Awful hurricane news from Haiti. Again :(
It's been so warm for so long, the ice winds on Monday came as a shock. Now it's calmed down, so not so unpleasant again.

Here, it's been a bit rainy today. But still not really cold. But as mentioned a day or so ago, it'd cold once the sun goes down.
