It's still been sunny, but it's been much cooler the past few days, of which I was happy. My Thanksgiving clothes were all ready for this cooler weather, but now it's decided to be 70 (21) again today. It's hard to complain about warm weather because I love it so much, but Thanksgiving and Christmas should be cooler so let's get with the program, weather.

This morning I had two cats on my person, my very heavy Penny on my chest and Rudy on my legs. It must have been cold for them too!

Today and yesterday were FREEEEZING.. it was minus four this morning! Eeeek.. tonight looks freaking cold again too. Right now it is -3 degrees according to my phone, which is around 32 degrees F.. It feels a LOT colder though.. the frost hasn't melted all day.
Brrrrrr throws another cat on the bed..

Ice scares me, particularly driving when you hit that patch of black ice. It's still cold out there!
Our boiler went off last night. We have this issue, it's a combination boiler, and gives out water which escapes via a pipe down the side of the house.. Yeah BRILLIANT invention.. just think.. FROZEN temps and a pipe with water in.. what happens?? Yes it freezes up. This then stops the boiler from working. So JUST when you really need heating it stops! So Andy had the fab idea to put in a valve inside under the boiler with a bucket under it. When we get VERY cold temps we uncouple this valve and hey presto the boiler comes back on.

It's been pretty darn cold here for a few days, then today it was 60 (15) which isn't horrible considering.
