Stormy and flooding this last week. But right now, it paved the way for clear blue skies and sun. Not a cloud in sight, such a heavenly view!

^ Same here. Tomorrow morning will be fun indeed. What's an ice storm like? Wet snow and storm? It does sound scary. Precipitation that is halfway between rain and snow. It coats everything with ice when it lands and freezes. It gets really heavy and it can break trees and power lines, and you can't drive at all because the roads are coated with ice. But, it looks pretty from inside when everything is sparkly and covered with ice! Went to the store tonight to stock up on groceries, it was totally crazy because not only are we having this big storm, we have a playoff football game this weekend. There was no ground beef on the shelves at all!!!! You'd think the apocalypse was coming. Well, it kind of is, with the inauguration coming in a week. But anyway.... Oh, and In My Place was on at the grocery store.  In My Place, at home... inside from the ice.... Is this the officially the longest weather post in this thread? |

Oh NICE... We had an ice storm once.. I guess it was more like ice rain. But I did coat everything! I remember vividly trying to walk to my Sister In Law's for dinner, we couldn't drive it was too icy, and falling over on a footbridge.. It was like a skating rink. So I feel for you. Slush has frozen here overnight, but fortunately most of the roads are clear so it's OK. |

Precipitation, new word for me! I don't think we have ice storms, not like that. I googled now, it looks very pretty. Hope it won't be too bad, a weekend indoors doesn't sound all bad  Very slippery today but beautiful, sunshine and blue sky. |

Snow overnight so I had a careful drive home, but when I got up it had all gone, supposed to be getting more tonight
