OMG, hot vs. not really hot, AC vs. non AC - these are conversations we have almost daily in the summer, haha!
I told her that even if she used it a few times a year, it's worth it to have at least a stand alone unit. I have a snow blower in my garage that I only use a few times a year, (depending on the weather, of course) and I have a generator out there that I've used only once since we bought it a few years back, but doggone it, they are great to have around when you need them!

MUCH cooler today. And yes Sharon is right it would be worth getting one for weeks like this. But honestly most of the time we would not use it. I am away on Saturday, so maybe if it is still like this on my return, then I will look to get one, or two freestanding units. Of course we would need to find a window we could park it in front of in order to vent it. My house is small and we have lots of furniture LOL.. But hey, anything can be arranged if needed.
