Thank you, I'm going to try the "natural plants". I've tried just about everything else, including the fake nest idea. It didn't work, they just sat on my "fake nest" and stared at me like, eff you, do you think we're too dumb to know this is a fake nest?

Yesterday was amazing.. sun, hot, lovely gorgeous. Today less hot, more windy, and Simpson's clouds.. but it's been a lovely weekend really.
Uh oh wasps!! The only thing I found that worked with wasps was (don't laugh!) duct taping the hole up! LOL! I know it's mean, but they can't get out.. and any still out can't go back in, so they eventually leave. But I recommend doing it after dark when they are all asleep or you might get stung.

Oh wow you're brave to get that close to the nest. All I can do is stand back and spray it from as far as possible, and if I see any kind of movement I run for the hills.  |

OK so now we are way off the subject of the weather. BUT I finally found the nest they were trying to build, it was hidden away under the edge of a box. Now I just have to wait until they're away and spray it so they don't come back.  |

Spring is back! Some dark clouds so it might rain soon.

So, I have tried all kinds of "natural" methods to get rid of this wasp, and it will not leave. So I finally had to resort to poison, I sprayed the thing directly and even though the can says "kills on contact", it sat there for like five minutes mocking me and then flew away on sturdy wings, like the poison had just made him stronger. This fuckin thing is like Rasputin, it will not die.
And the weather here is really beautiful this morning, cool and cloudy and quiet with a little light rainfall, a nice background for breakfast and coffee.
