If you will excuse the horrible recording from my tv, here it is! As for the performance, great as usual. Balloons fell from the ceiling as well as confetti, but the part that was, different, was that 4 people dressed in monkey costumes came out during their performance and danced around, etc. Interesting to say the least, haha!

am i the only one disappointed at coldplay turning an MV into a commercial? what happened to not selling songs for commercial use? this is not just a song, but the music video itself?

Yes it works now. I don't know Gai, this may just be a commercial. The video may be different.

Yeah, I see your point. On the other hand, in 15+ years, and from my sometimes shaky memory, they've chosen two music-based 'products' to endorse around a time music is being released, and that's iTunes (which I think was a similar situation to this) and Beats. I agree, though, I don't want to turn on the tv and see them promoting acne cream or cars, but I don't see that happening. I don't know. I know I'm biased, but they've been such a stand-up band for 15+ years and have generally been good, humble, gracious people who do so much good in the world with charity and such that I can't personally let a Beats promo take away from all of that.

i like your thinking. i was ok with itunes, because it was a viva song ad essentially with exclusively on itunes tagged on in the end. but this is an MV. that's supposed to be a hook for the song, not a fluffy commercial product, whether music related or not. just a little disappointed at the blatant product placement/advertising. but i get your point too. coldplay are at a point where it is getting harder and harder to get their music to people now with being around for so long. happens to everyone. but this was still disappointing.

Looks like a great performance. Thanks for pics and comments! Monkeys I really like this photo from Coldplay's twitter. So much focus and concentration yet relaxed and exciting. Look at Will, he's juuust about to hit the drums. Love it, goosebumps. 10 seconds to showtime #coldplayAMAs PH Oh and please don't stop with the sayings, Sharon. How would I know it's a conniption fit I'm having when I'm having it if it wasn't for you
