Wow this one and Berlin are huge arenas! Some of the largest ones announced so far. Gelsenkirchen sounds like a small town in the alps to me

Ah yes of course! I'm still surprised a town I don't even know about has such a large stadium. Must be a large country, Germany

There seems to be a pre-sale for all three German concerts, starting Wednesday Nov 25th at 10am. You need to sign up for the "Ticketalarm" here: linkHope I understood the information correctly

Yeah, that's what I wrote above but still I am not sure if eventim will have tickets as well. Maybe ticketmaster.de only.

Hmm I really think I will try to get a ticket for this show It looks like it will be the first AHFOD tour venue in Germany, so that's a bit special too

Ah yes of course! I'm still surprised a town I don't even know about has such a large stadium. Must be a large country, Germany That's just because of soccer - Gelsenkirchen arena is home to the Schalke soccer club which is very popular (I am not interested in soccer, but even I know that club...). The Rhine-Ruhr area has a very high population with a lot of soccer clubs, so there are a lot of big arenas around.

Yes that explains it! I saw it says Schalke in the photo Dustin posted of the arena. Even I know of them

I got tickets - but FOS right instead of left (even though I clicked left, they gave me right). eventim did not work at all for me, for ticketmaster I was in the queue for about 20cminutes and then it worked. But it was not fun! I am especially angry about the VIP Early entry tickets. They are 220 €, not 165€. But no matter what they cost - I had not planned on buying them. But I am extremely disappointed that Coldplay does that - with the VIP tickets you can buy the privilege of front row, so all those dedicated fans who may not have the money and queue all day cannot even get into front row. What happened to the band who in the US deliberately keeps the front line seats empty to fetch Coldplay fans from the cheap seats as they prefer to have real fans in front of them? Sorry, but I grew up on social welfare in a city where education was based on money so I had to fight for it. I was surrounded by people who were used to buying privileges and I hated them and their attitude. So even though I have the money in the bank (and not because I earn a lot - just because I never buy anything much) I do not want to support that. *Rant over*

Hi, just want to say that I agree with you 220€ for a front row ticket is way too much... and I also don't like the message it conveys (best tickets for no effort but for surreal prices). I am afraid that these will be the tickets that won't be sold for some time (as they are too expensive) and people will only buy them when there is no other option left. That way, no real Coldplay fans will stand in the first row, but some wealthy, occasional concert goers....

Couldn't agree more. It's insane! For 220 euros you could go to a 4 day festival...

I can buy tickets here....does anyone need my help? I didn't read all the posts above.......
edit:
I booked 2 seats!!!!! Near the roof. Seeing the seats for sale, without being in a hurry....I just could not stand the offer I gues. I am goin with my hubby - it is a 1,5 hour drive with the car, so almost a home-game! Ohhh....excited, just knowing we will be there with Jelena & Dustin!! Although I realise we maybe will not see eachother 'live' ha!
I'll still try to get tickets for London OR Amsterdam as well. But knowing I have these tickets (almost) in my pocket just makes me relaxed!! Ahhh.....we are going!!!
