Although, we're saying that the outfits are black and white, but the photo is black and white... They could be dark blue, green and red for all we know... Have just seen a colour version of the photo on someone's Twitter post, and the outfits are all black/grey Attachments:

I wonder how the shows will be this era. Will they still have unique intro music like 'back to the future' for mx and 'blue danube' for viva? I think its still a little too early to speculate but I wonder what the themes will be with this era. The band has been pretty tight-lipped so far, especially with the possibility of a single announcement/release this week.

The new outfits made me think of AROBTTH era. I hope they don't go too dark though,
they just came from a bight MX era with colour.

It's going to be dark. And they can't do X&Y dark, which was just dark shirt and pants... I'm really curious if they will even do a outfit this time around. I think this album will be very minimalist.

When I first saw the pic of Chris filming the music video (the one in the street) it immediately made me think of the high collared black shirt in the vid for The Scientist. It's not the same, but that's what it made me think of.

I'm really excited about a new darker Coldplay. I loved MX but now I want to hear a more mysterious dark sound. I think it would be interesting. The new song makes me think of Safety EP era Coldplay. The cover of Safety is all dark and weird, kinda like the new video. I love Safety so if they did something more experimental it's gonna be awesome. Anyway I'm just so excited to FINALLY hear something new from them, been waiting long enough!!  |

My guess is that they will be mostly blacked out, no obvious bright colors. There may be a set of symbols that they use this era, similar to the song symbols from MX, that are accents on their clothing. I doubt that Coldplay will return to the full street-clothes look of AROBTTH.
