English sayings and phrases are a challenge sometimes. And so is Google translate It's something with this photo, he looks so much like someone but I can't for my life figure out who. An athlete I think. Gaah.

Oh good grief... some of my favourites there! I love that photo of Chris by Andy Gotts.. so lovely. He only reminds me of himself there. LOL..
As for Hugh Lawrie, a lot of people say that, but it's the similar shape of his face and his eye colour.. apart from that.. I don't think so..not really. They both have high cheekbones, stubble and long noses, but Hugh's nose is a different shape to Chris's.

Maybe it's him I'm thinking of, it's possible but I'm not convinced yet When I first saw the Chris pic I saw someone else clearly, now that has faded as I've seen it a few times. Mind games

*putting sentence in google translate again* hahaha Sorry Anita, I forget because your English is so good.. Raising the stakes, a betting term.. where you bet more than the other person.. sort of.. throw down the gauntlet : To issue a challenge to someone; from the medieval practice of knights throwing down a metal gauntlet as a sign that they wished to do single combat.

I figured it out - sort of, but not correct now it seems LOL: A gauntled didn't fit for me (remembering that movie (First Knight"??) were Richard Gere was running the gauntlet...I thought it was that huge 'obstacle-run'. I also could not place the long chalk haha. So thank you for the explaination!

So, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show came on HBO again last night, there was nothing else on so I stuck around knowing Chris was up first to induct Peter Gabriel. My husband got up and walked out of the room, and then started doing laundry. He hears Chris and goes, "is Chris being silly again?" I think my husband is actually kind of jealous of Chris, and he is NEVER jealous of anyone!
