Hello I'm not sure if I am the other lurker but I have been lurking a couple of years. I have been a coldplay fan from the first album and I have been part of the coldplay Internet community since way back when coldplay.com had a chat room and forum. I missed chatting with other coldplay fans about them. This forum kind of reminds me of those days. I enjoy all the lovely posts in this thread.

Haha I'm pretty sure he's just preserving his voice. He has to sing for 2 hours straight almost every night. Also there are press conferences, interviews going on. A lot of talking can also wear out your voice. He wants to save the best of his voice for the fans for each show.
