He is set to play with his band Coldplay at the Manchester Benefit concert on Sunday.  But Chris Martin enjoyed some time off on Wednesday, as he visited Disneyland with son Moses, 11.

The 40-year-old British singer looked in good spirits as he enjoyed the day out with a group of friends.

Clad in casual tracksuit bottoms, a bright blue sweater and coordinating trainers Chris put on a casual display.

The singer appeared upbeat as he took sweet son Moses on a ride at the entertainment park, joined by his pal.

Making the most of the sunny day, they enjoyed a snack before continuing to make the most of the rides on offer.

Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry will join Ariana Grande at a charity concert in Manchester, England, on Sunday.

Grande announced Tuesday that the "One Love Manchester" show will be held at the city's Old Trafford cricket ground just under two weeks after a bomber killed 22 people at the pop singer's concert in Manchester.

Other performers will include Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Usher, Niall Horan and Take That. Proceeds will go to an emergency fund set up by the city of Manchester and the British Red Cross.

In 2014, Chris' ex wife Gwyneth Paltrow- who he also shares 13-year-old daughter Apple with, told readers on her website of her impending divorce after 11 years of marriage.

Gwyneth and Chris broke the news of their marital split in March 2014, writing: 'It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate.'  They went on to explain that the split had been on the cards for 'well over a year' and that in many ways they were closer than ever.  She described the process as 'conscious uncoupling'.

'We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner,' the statement continued.

But since the couple's heartbreaking split it appears the family unit is stronger than ever.

According to the teachings of conscious uncoupling, humans simply aren't meant to stay married for so long.

They point toward the exponential increase in lifespan that humans have experienced in the last century or so: 'We’re living three lifetimes compared to early humans, perhaps we need to redefine the construct.

'Social research suggests that because we’re living so long, most people will have two or three significant long-term relationships in their lifetime.
