I finally got to record the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and I watched his portion of it several times. I like the way he says "Peter Gabriel" when he is describing each of his solo albums. Peter Gabriel. Peter Gabriel. Peter Gabriel.

But during their gig at The Star Event Centre on Wednesday night the father-of-two, explained that he acquired the mark on the way over to Australia. The 37-year-old, who wore had worn a Carhartt cap pulled down over his face in an attempt to hide the red mark, also revealed for the inspiration behind their new record Ghost Stories for the first time. He said: 'When we were on the plane here from Tokyo I cut my nose.' Chris joked that Australians are used to getting beaten up playing Australian Rules and rugby, so the fact it made him look a little tougher was 'probably a good thing for Coldplay'. The frontman was clearly in the mood for sharing, talking about the inspiration behind Ghost Stories, - believed to be about his recent split from wife Gwyneth Paltrow. 'We haven't really told anyone about this album we made, called Ghost Stories,' Chris said. 'So just between you and me, I'll tell you a lot of it is about when you go through something a little difficult, and you understand that by staying with it you reach a place of love and happiness and come through better the other side.' The implication may have been that Chris wrote the music during his breakup with actress wife Gwyneth Paltrow earlier this year, after a decade of marriage. The pair are still very close and have been pictured regularly enjoying each others' company over the last few months as they co-parent children Moses and Apple. Despite Chris trying to hide the mark under his cap earlier in the week, it was still clearly visible as the singer, wearing a leather jacket and a 'Love' badge, arrived along with band mates Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion, landed in Australia. But the down-to-earth band looked like any other travelers as they walked through the airport, with Chris even pushing his own stack of luggage. Despite the distance they traveled to Australia, the four-piece will now play just one more gig at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday night. The gig at Sydney’s iconic venue, which sold out in just three minutes, will take place on Thursday. The engagement puts Coldplay with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Oasis, who have also played special art deco venue. Their visit will also include making an appearance on The Voice Australia, which will air on June 23. And the musicians are said to have already recorded another TV special, to air on Channel 7. link |

Thanks for the article! Even if we don't know HOW he cut it.. Sharon and I came up with some ideas the other day.. one being that during a slightly turbulent flight, he managed to scratch himself whilst trying to fasten a Love Badge. I still like that idea. LOL. And Ceren.. be MORE random, as often as you want!!  |

Since I am extremely clumsy (I'm currently wearing a bandaid on my hand because a file folder ripped off some skin), so I can understand him bumping his nose on a plane!

Chris looks great. Must have been so fun to be there.
I had my last exam today before summer break so with these pictures yesterday, it was kind of hard to concentrate on studying... But it went well.
I would also like to know the story behind the nose. And I would like to know what concealer he uses. Always wearing the best make-up, that Chris.

Somebody posted on Twitter that they were on the same plane with Chris and that he was wrestling with a plastic snack bag and accidentally caught himself on the nose...................take it or leave it.................
But PLEASE don't take away the randomness............do you think Chris has more muscles than the "average" man????

Yes those plastic bags can be nasty Lol. There's a joke in England about people not being able to fight their way out of a paper bag. Lol. Meaning they are a bit weak. I don't think that applies to Chris. More muscles than average? I guess it depends on what is average? He's just about perfect to me. (Yes I know this comes as no surprise lol ). The muscles are fine indeed. They were fine and they will be fine. In any size or proportion, they will be fine  I hardly look at other man so I cannot truly compare  . Chris comes close to my Nubbie if that counts. LOL |
