Well, awesome!! Great response to the band, great feeling, they were happy....all around awesome! Yes, Guy's jacket was way more out there than I picture him wearing, but again, awesome. (I'm American, it's in my blood to say 'awesome' a lot!) I think Chris was having trouble with his mic or maybe the loudness of his piano, but also I don't think he cared, haha! Awesome! edit: Video is uploading. It will be posted to the Media thread as soon as it's finished.

Final thoughts: 1) Will's singing was great 2) You could actually hear Guy! More of this in future please 3) How does an entire crowd manage to sound drunk whilst singing? 4) The xylobands were definitely changing colour. Overall really good and an overwhelmingly positive response. Loved it! PS. Sorry for posting like a mad woman throughout this I got very excited

Loved Chris' look during Clocks when he noticed that he was not singing when he was actually supposed to be singing

The only part that was questionable was Oli Sykes stepping on their table. If it were intentional, that was low. If not, well, then forget it. haha!

It's a good thing Oli Sykes obviously doesn't care that he has no shred of class or dignity. Even if I believed for a second, which I don't, that he didn't pick their table on purpose or was just performing and got caught up in it, who would do that to ANYONE'S table? What an absolute jerk. They can't catch a break lately.

Just read on Coldplaying fb that some guess it was because Coldplay "copied" his band's album artwork.

Yes, this has been going on a while. Sykes ended one of the interviews with: "It's not ours, it's kind of cool really, it's a cool thing that a band that big are also gonna be sharing that with people". So....get over it already. The flower of life is an ancient symbol. What he did was inexcusable.

I think they had the only reaction that they could have. I wouldn't expect anything less from them because THEY do own class and dignity. Me, on the other hand, would probably have reached out and pushed him off. Ooops, sorry.

I was thinking at the time, and as I go back and watch it, it reminds me....
Do you think Chris was trying to get a point across in his speech when he said the first time they were there they sat where BMTH was sitting...next to the big bands....
Is it me? Maybe? No....?

Hahaa! Oh definitely! Implication being bmth being an unknown, small band. I loved it! Actually it was a great speech! I was talking about how they should mention all the times nme made fun of them when they accept right when this was announced! And they did! Humble, self aware and gracious! Wonderful.
