This was I posted by a member named Aardvark747 on a U2 board that I visit quite a bit...
Today I happened to bump into Paul Epworth who was coming out of one of Coldplay's studios in North London (I work very close) I told him that I really liked his mix of Ordinary Love and asked if he was helping U2 on their new album right now? He said that he "had only been working on it with them for a short time" and before I could ask anything he said "I couldn't possibly give any insider information". He said that with a smile so I got the impression that perhaps, like we've been guessing about Dangermouse, he's sworn to secrecy at this stage. However, he did say that he was finishing up his work with Coldplay on their album which "would be released soon" but as for U2's, "No idea right now"

And oh I just had a thought. Since we can see a sound thingy on the pic, I was thinking it may not be for a music video, but maybe some kind of teasing/addressing to fans for LP6...but then why would Chris be alone here?

I was thinking it's an interview because of the mic.. A short teaser kind of thing makes sense too. And wow, I love Paul Epworth's work, now I'm even more excited to hear the new Coldplay!

Yes, the mic throws things off a bit for a music video, but I love all of the anticipation - it's like the week before Christmas, and soon it will feel like Christmas Eve. And Ellen , I can totally see them getting a kick out of all of the fan excitement and speculation and how close it is to the truth...or...how far off base it is! |

I keep thinking that the mic is just a part of the video. Don't know but the crew around him seems a too many people for an interview. Also they are all in winter coats and you can see its freezing and he's just sitting in a light jacket. And that one guy that seems to be holding the mic also has something on his back... I don't know maybe I'm just looking too much in for the details. But there's also one more person sitting opposite of him but he/she is sitting a bit far if its interview. Okay now I confused myself.  |
