I'd really love to know what the target exclusive songs are. I currently have the album preordered on itunes and if they are new songs i'll change that. However if they are remix's or songs that will be available on itunes I dont really wanna buy it at target. Anyone got info on the songs? Not that I've heard. I'm with you...I don't want remixes. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE remixes. But I'd rather have new songs from Coldplay and let the remixes flow steadily from Soundcloud. |

So I may be getting ahead of myself but just wondering- how soon after an album release do they usually announce tour dates and put tickets on sale? Also when do you think they'll be touring in the US?

Sadly I remember when it came to The Killers' Battle Born they didn't update the details online until the day of release! I see that it also says that it will not be sold in stores. At first I though this was because it is a pre-order so obviously not in stores yet but looking at other pre orders they say that the item will be available in stores on such and such date. If it is online only that will mean we have to jump on the pre order quick. |

I'm afraid Midnight - to my utter chagrin - is going to be (the only) b-side to either one of these singles. |

If you go on iTunes, though, you'll see that Magic, Midnight, Another's Arms, and A Sky Full of Stars have time placeholders. This pretty much seals it that they will definitely be the singles. They'll probably be the songs they choose to feature in the iTunes Festival as well.

I highly doubt the 3 extra tracks will be remixes or live versions of songs, it just doesn't seem like something they would do. (Though with everything happening so fast and all at once with them just dropping new songs and an album without any warning, there's a first for everything.) I'm betting that because Ghost Stories (the non-Target Exclusive version) only has 9 tracks, there will definitely be a hidden track and/or a longer song (maybe like 8 or 9 minutes in length?) I also have the album pre-ordered on iTunes, but I'm still going to buy the physical copy of the CD from Target. |
