Wow, that was a surprise! I tried to resist, but it didn't work! The art work is stunning, and the songs are just heart wrenching and beautiful. Some of it so sad, and difficult to listen to at times. True love made me cry. I really love it. Always in my head is probably my favourite at the moment, but O is gorgeous as well. |

It's truly beautiful. True Love is a stand out song so far, but I love O and Oceans and oh well all of it actually.  Good luck if you are waiting. I commend you. But believe me it will be worth the wait. |

O has me in knots....I think it makes me the most emotional.
I wasn't going to listen, but then I thought, they released it. If they released it today or next Monday, it's still the day they decided to put it out there, so I listened. If it had been a leak, I wouldn't have listened. But I'm so glad I did. It is absolutely STUNNING. So full of emotion.
Row and I were remembering how everyone was trying to guess what the next 'theme' would be, bow they would dress, etc., and who knew it would be a heartbreaking record about the end of his marriage? So far off anything in my head.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. They have outdone themselves.
More tissues please....

Gosh. I'll just copy my twitter review here:
I don't even know where to begin
Everything is just so beautiful and so perfect, the lyrics, the stories behind the songs, the visuals, the transitions between the songs, the order of the songs, everything is just stunning.
O, Oceans and AA are out of this world and I get teary every time. Let me go cry forever and then die. Play Midnight at my funeral. And before you bury me, play ASFOS to bring me back to life.
This is why Coldplay is the most succesful and best band of our generation. They are flawless. And this is the album you need to listen if you want to escape, if you want some peace or just unwind after a long day. I can't stop listening to it.

I just listened to it and WOW! I think this is up there with robtth it not only is beatiful but tells and story and has a great messsage. I love the way the songs are mixed and im going to stop talking so I can go listen to it again lol |

If I can be completely honest here, I'm not truly feeling True Love. I mean the majority of the song I did like, I just think that some parts felt a little off and probably could have been done better. Like the solo, I'll be honest, the sliding made me cringe a little, but the chiming after that I thought was pretty well done. The rest of the album was superb, I say my favorites (aside from the 3 "big" hits) are AIMH, Ink and O.
