I haven't seen Julie and Julia. Puts it on list. But the Devil Wears Prada is an excellent movie. When I first saw it I identified hugely with the main character as I was in a very difficult place at work myself. I need to see it again too! I watched 'Hereafter' with Matt Damon the other night.. sounded excellent.. was a bit disappointing. It felt quite disjointed, and never really went anywhere.

Went to see Gone Girl (good flick, still wondering what the general thesis was) last night--COLDPLAY ALERT--the trailer for some Moses film has Midnight playing at the beginning!

Moses.. Midnight... wow. Surely they should play Moses in Moses LOL!
I have been recommended to read the book Gone Girl.. Maybe I will cheat and see the film instead LOL

I saw the film a couple of nights ago but I don't remember a Moses trailer! Better go back to see another movie!

My Week with Marilyn is on TV tonight, I haven't seen it. TV or internet, TV or internet...

Has anyone seen '71? (a thriller about an English soldier accidentally abandoned by his unit in Belfast during the Troubles) I want to see it but I'm too scared for thrillers and reviews like "holds you in a vice-like grip throughout" makes me wonder if it's too much

Me neither. I just saw John Wick and even though I like Keanu, the body count was very high! Whew.

Aaah The Lost Boys is on VH1 today. It's a classic. Love it. This vampire movie beats the pants off Twilight IMHO. Has an amazing soundtrack too. And Jason Patric and Keifer Sutherland are not hard to look at either.... Much prefer them over Robert Pattinson.

One of my faves of all time! I think I saw it in the theater 10 times. Have it on DVD. Loved Keifer!

One of my faves of all time! I think I saw it in the theater 10 times. Have it on DVD. Loved Keifer! I couldn't see it in the theatre because I was a bit too young to get into R movies when it first came out, but I remember seeing the commercials for it on tv and my friends and I wanted to see it soooo bad.... and I believe I had to wait a few years even to see it on video, because I don't think we even had a VCR yet back then! OMG ancient times!!!!!! But since then I've watched and rewatched it on video a million times.

Yes, what a crazy movie that was. The Neil Patrick Harris scene was hard to take for me, but the movie was wild, and I agree that the main actress, Rosamund Pike (who was also in Simon Pegg's movie The World's End which I loved) was outstanding.
