Time flies, yes, and it's almost time for.....
For the past few years, we've had a great group of folks that participated in the Secret Santa exchange with us, and we hope those people, plus more, will join us and continue the fun this year.
Here are the details!
--PM your name and address (exactly how you would write it on an envelope for mailing) to me by no later than Friday, Nov. 10th.
--I will collect and shuffle the names and send you your Secret Santa match just a couple of days later so everyone has time to mail a package in time for Christmas.
--Mail your packages AS SOON AS YOU CAN to make sure they arrive in time for the big day. PM me again once you have mailed your package.
--You can include whatever you want in your package: a card, a trinket from your country, a postcard, a small gift, candy, whatever! Don't go crazy on it, however, because we are not looking to send expensive gifts, just a remembrance from a friend.

Well sure. But don't you have somewhere it could get sent to? A friend's house or something? I know I speak for most of us here, that we would like you to be receiving as well as giving.

You have this week to sign up to join us for Secret Santa! The deadline is Friday, Nov. 10th. The gifts do not have to be big, they don't have to be creative, they can just be what you want to give whether it's something representative of your country, something handmade if you are able, some candy - whatever. It's the thought and effort that counts! Don't you want to join us? It's fun! |
