Day 23: Favorite Drumline from Will: Viva -- Cuz I just love watching him smash those Viva drums live LOL Day 24: Favorite Video Clip: Hmmm hard one.. but I really do love the end of ASFOS, with the confetti going off and everyone smiling and cheering, it really makes me happy everytime I watch it Day 25: Favorite Unreleased Song: Careful Where You Stand Day 26: Favorite Unpopular Song: Hmmm. Well I really love "Easy to Please" but I don't see it mentioned much as anyone else's favorite...so maybe that one? IDK!!! Day 27: Favorite Song From A Single: Clocks

Does anyone know what Day 28 is? The colors make it hard to read.

Ok here goes.. so behind! Day 20 - Too hard I love them all.. Look at the Stars is always going to be the Iconic line of course. Day 21 - Its got to be Up and Up. But I have always loved the Cemeteries Riff.. Day 22- This is harder cos I am not very good at basslines. But lets go with Magic cos he wrote it. Day 23- The drum line before GPAS live on the MX Tour. Day 24- Viva La Vida. The original one. Day 25- One I love. Although it IS released I suppose.. on the live Album.. so OK Wedding Bells Day 26- Unpopular? I think they are all popular LOL.. OK lets go with The Hardest Part Day 27- Do they mean B sides? If so then Moving To Mars Day 28- A sky Full of Stars (Obviously ) Phew...

Day 28: hmmm.. ASFOS and POC are good. Nothing else is coming to mind. I'll say Hymn For The Weekend. Good memories of that one during spring break in March of last year.

Day 29: Hmmm, good one. I'm a fan because of the music, since I was 29 and heard Yellow and then bought the album. I didn't even realize what the band looked like until a couple of years later. I STAY a fan because of the music, the live performances, the human beings that they are, and the joy and kindness they spread.

Day 29: The hub bought Parachutes in 2000, and we've bought every once since as they've come out. Don't Panic was the first CP song that I ever heard, and I thought it was absolutely stellar. However...I just liked their music and didn't really pay much attention until Chris started up with Gwyneth because it was in the news. So, I paid more attention, definitely thought he was cute, but again, didn't pay enough attention. There was an American show called "Rescue Me" that came out in 2004 about the struggle firefighters in NYC had after 9/11. The hub and myself didn't start watching it when it first came on, but we were catching up with it around 2010 when I heard Don't Panic in the first episode (it was such a good moment, I put it in the spoiler below), and it brought it all back, so I started digging a little. Then more, then more. Several months before MX came out, I was on the hook massively and overloading on videos that I saw along the way but never really paid attention to like I should have. I stay a fan for many reasons. I love the music and I think it's written from the heart. The band is full of humble, talented, responsible, caring people. They give to charity, they do good things for the world. They care deeply for their fans and for the music that they produce. They are appreciative of everything they have. They seem too good to be true sometimes for me. This is too long!

Day 29: I was mesmerized when I saw them perform on SNL three years ago during Ghost Stories. Even though I had loved their music before then, I had not seen them perform live, and there is just something so very unique and special about the energy and the essence that they bring to the stage. Of course it goes without saying that I fell instantly in love with Chris LOL, but it was also the whole band, the music, and the whole performance. I kept wanting to look them up online after that, and I kept watching videos, and then I found you guys, and that was it! I knew I had found an incredible band, with incredible music, and incredible fans.

Day 29: I had heard all about Coldplay, mostly that they were 'Depressing' When Christmas Lights was released I fell in love with the song, but didn't download it or buy it (why not? - No Idea) and as it was Christmas forgot all about it. Apart from mentioning to hubby that I liked the song. He reiterated that they were depressing and that was that. Fast forward to the June of that year. Hubby suggests we watch Glasto.. Coldplay were of course headlinging, I was hooked and Hubby went to bed and left me to watch it.
It was a stellar moment. ALL the songs I thought I kind of knew I loved.. the butterfly confetti.. Chris ROLLING In it.. I was mesmerised. Hubby even to this day rolls his eyes and says why did I suggest we watch that LOL..
Then Fast forward to about a month later and I was catching up on all the CP stuff I didn't know. Bought VIVA cos it was the last album out. Fell in love with that, bought all the rest of the back catalogue and finally watching live videos saw the Rock Am Ring and Chris fist pumping in the pouring rain to ETIAW
Go to 1:20.00, This is the bit where I fell in love..
The rest is history!
FINALLY Day 30:
Favourite Memory... SO many to choose from... standing by the side of the ramp front of stage in Holland in 2012 watching the confetti blow about in the breeze, the band on stage doing Clocks, the sounds, the sights the SMELLS, the ultimate amazing feelings.. It's an enduring memory and one that still gives me goosebumps.. also seeing Chris and Jonny in the Littlenoises, front row, and they played Shiver right in front of me.. Then there is waiting to see the band with so many wonderful people over the years, all of them amazing people with such a great passion, I have spent so many day outside in the heat or the freezing cold, but loving it all because the people I waited in line with were so amazing.
But I think most importantly, meeting Sharon. If it hadn't been for Coldplay I would never have met the best friend I have ever had.
Thank you Coldplay for continuing to be the best thing that has EVER happened to me.

Day 29: Because I like their music
Day 30: April 29, 2012, we were leaving San Jose that morning from the concert the night before. On our way home, we were on the freeway, driving past the iconic golden California hills. Not the actual golden hills in Kern county but what they call California as the golden state. I was barely awake, slightly sleeping. Lovers in Japan was playing on my iPod. As I opened my eyes, and when it got to the part "And One Day the sun will come out", I saw the sun breaking over those golden hills in the background and it was a moment I'll never forget.
