Isn´t it quite a surprise that the songs haven´t leaked yet? I would have thought that someone who went to one of the last concerts (where CP performed the full album) might have recorded a few songs. I am not complaining - I prefer listening to a brandnew album and feel the anticipation before the release but it still astounded me. What do you think?  +  =  |

Well, they were very stricktly in not allowing phones and camera's in. they did their very best to make sure nothing could leak.
But I am still suprised no one succeeded to carry a phone or something in. I am fine with it. A part of me want to hear things and a part of me don't. I like the excitement and I am really looking forward to the release.

I would prefer no leaks, I really want to hear the entire album together. I really missed that with MX. I loved that they played the songs, but I felt a little cheated when the Album came out because we knew most of them.

They didn't want cell phones, and I'm so glad it worked out to what they wanted and that no videos have leaked! I personally think it's a disservice to the band to have songs leaked before they are ready themselves to put it out there. I know I'm dying to hear it (really freaking out to hear it!!), but I want to wait too so it's exciting and fresh when I have the cd in my hot little hands.

i'm desperating trying not to hear anymore songs before i hear the whole album. It'll be the first time since Parachutes. I remember getting AROBTTH more than a month before it was released, my older brother was much more computer literate and in the early days of downloading (and weaker security on leaks) made a cd, with album cover, for me. Since then i alwayus hear random songs at different times, so this time I MUST WAIT....

I do not want it to leak. Someone on Twitter yesterday, posted that it had leaked and they were downloading! Took me a moment before I realised what day it was.. Thanks for the slight heart attack Macky!

Today marks one month until the first official release of Ghost Stories (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, New Zealand). The record leaking is now an official hope/concern for us as a fan community.
LET'S GET THIS THREAD ROLLING!
My personal thought is that the record is JUST now getting mastered. I think that the mixing was finished over the past two weeks and if I had to guess I'd say that Bob Ludwig has it cranking through his monitors in NYC right now.
This means that unless someone is sneaky and snatches a copy to leak after mastering it will most likely not leak until it's sent out for physical distribution - the week prior to May 16th.
Thoughts? Concerns? General feelings of excitement?
Will you rush to your stereo to play it immediately?
Will you remain abstinent until May 16/19/20/21?
