so all the noise from 'the voice' was because chris is going to be an adviser. so he is going to be working with all the singers in the competition instead of playing second fiddle to one of the coaches. which i think is something done specially for him. oh and he will on next monday, tuesday and the following monday. ![]()  link |

Yes he does look a bit tired Emma. Although still gorgeous. Edit It actually looks like they just photoshopped him into these photos, he has the same expression in all of them
I wonder if they will play on the show. They've not done a lot of promotion for Ghost stories.
Also I haven't checked, when does this show broadcast?

The show broadcasts Monday & Tuesday evening. Chris will appear on Monday 3/31 & Tuesday 4/1, an then the following Monday I guess since he'll be in 3 episodes.

Hadn't paid attention yet but he indeed doesn't look happy in these pics...
In my opinion this is wrong on many levels. A talent show. what was he thinking? Months ago The Oracle LAUGHED at this when someone asked about it. Okay he's not a judge and we know it's not about the money, but if it's to promote the album there are other and better ways to do that with the band. If he really wants to help talented people, they could always set up a record label.
ugh. disappointed..

I think this is being blown way out of proportion. As I said earlier, Chris does what Chris wants to do and I just think he has a passion and enthusiasm that lends him to do many things. IMO, he's worked hard enough and put out enough good music, treated his fans so well and has done so much for them (and the world) and beeen involved in enough charity work that he shouldn't be thrown to the wolves or be cast off by fans for just being an adviser behind the scenes on a tv show. It's just a tv show. Has he not earned enough respect? I admit that it's not my favorite thing either, but it's Chris, and I respect him a lot for everything he's done. It's really hard to please people all of the time. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Not too sure what I think about this, first reaction was disappointment and a question WHY??? Sharon has made some strong points and yes he will get critisised from some people but he's doing his own thing  I still dont really get it, I would think he's going to be busy enough promoting GS what with interviews, gigs etc, please dont wear yourself out Mr Martin!! |

I do want interviews! Where are the interviews? Sniff, sniff I understand the feeling about these types of shows. I honestly do not like them either! But for some reason, I just don't see him trying to get celebrity attention. He's got to be doing it out of passion or maybe to give the advice he put on the radio earlier according to JC (that's Jonnyandthecake, ha!) I just thought it was a bit of an overreaction, just my opinion. Now, if he becomes a judge...I will still and always love him, but I might have more to say about that.  But those pictures....whew. |

^ i feel like the reason behind such reactions is because of the perception of the band we built up based on a lot of things over the years, including not taking part in commercials or buying into the whole celebrity hoopla (i'm not saying that they have sold out, just that they *appear* to be on the way  ). so when they go ahead and do something exactly opposite of that, people are disappointed. it's simple as that. what can you say, you gain some, you loose some with everything you do, especially when you have such a diverse fan base like coldplay do. |
