This is interesting. A separate video shoot this Saturday at 3-6pm. I presume at the same location. We have added a new event, a Coldplay Video Shoot, on the afternoon of Saturday, March 22nd (3-6pm).
Please note: this is a video shoot, there will be breaks/pauses/repeat tracks, etc. Minimum age is 18. link

So we have a video for Midnight. Magic is already in the can. Oceans has already been filmed And now this? Are they making a visual album? lol

I think it's going to be a visual album. That's why the nine tracks. Just my hypothesis.

This is getting really interesting! I'm missing interviews and such, but this whole album, and the process by which its coming about, is very intriguing. Man, I wish I lived in L.A. for things like this.

Me too. Lets move. And I think they might be going to do a video for the entire album. How unique and how amazing that would be.

At the previous albums, they released fout or five music videos. At this stage we know they made a video for Midnight, Magic and most likely Oceans. That's three. The video shoot could be for a fourth music video. I hope every song will come with a video, but they haven't done more then previous album (by what we know).

I was browsing Coldplaying and someone said they went to the show. Apparently they played the entire album, plus a few oldies. They gave brief descriptions of each song:
From user Ostrich: "Not sure what's already been covered/gleaned from twitter, but setlist was as follows:
1. Paradise 2. Clocks
-5 min break-
Ghost Stories cover to cover
-5 min break-
Viva La Vida Fix You Paradise again (Chris mentioned them needing to film it again, so it sounds like they'll be releasing more than just Ghost Stories on film).
Speaking of the film, the show producer mentioned it would be TV and DVD. Chris said at the beginning it would be dropping close to when the album was released.
As far as the songs, I'm horrible at giving decent descriptions (especially for songs I've only heard once), so I'll give extremely scattered impressions and you guys can feel free to ask more about any specifics.
Nothing about the songs we've already heard has changed. Always In My Head still feels a bit truncated to me, and I was hoping that for some reason they didn't play the whole thing at the iTunes festival, but apparently that's the full song. Still love it though.
Magic stayed the same. Sounds great live.
Ink was one of the songs that really stood out to me. Classic Coldplay, very upbeat. Chris was on acoustic guitar for this one.
True Love I honestly don't remember that much about, other than it being slower than Ink.
Midnight... I was not a fan of Midnight when it came out. That said, it's probably one of their best songs live. Something I think they added (at least I don't remember it from iTunes) is that Chris also plays the laser harp for this one.
Another's Arms is still probably my least favorite off the album, but it's been smoothed out considerably since their iTunes performance. Still no fixing those lyrics though
Oceans is another calmer one. Will uses his drum kit to make some sort of ship's horn sound for 3 or 4 notes that builds the base for the melody. The atmosphere definitely live's up to the song's name
A Sky Full Of Stars is the other stand out for me. It starts pretty low key. Chris was muttering/whispering something unintelligible toward the beginning. Pretty sure it's part of the song, but I couldn't understand a word. Then it builds a little and stays mid-road for a bit before absolutely exploding (think the chorus of DLIBYH). This is also where the star confetti came in. Massive energy in the crowd for this one.
Lastly, O closes out the album nicely. It follows the characteristics of some of the other GS tracks in that it doesn't build to that massive conclusion that Coldplay is fond of, but it's still very impactful. Chris on piano; Will plays a bit of electric guitar on this one (I don't remember him touching his drums for this song at all)."
Oh, and regarding the wristbands, they were handed out after the tickets were scanned. Nothing special about them."
They also might be releasing a DVD sometime around the album

THANK you. Sky full of stars seems the most likely choice for the next single don't you think? With the Star confetti and the hand written lyrics given out. Gahh.. wish we'd all been there..

I would think it sounded like it too, but we haven't heard much about a video shoot for that. Maybe they will use live footage for it. I have no idea, but if I thought I was excited for the album before, I am on Grade 1 Overload at this point!!
I am a wee bit jealous, but I'm happy for the people that get to witness these events.

They were saying how ASFOS really seemed to be the crowed favorite. I remember when the track listing was released, it was one of the tracks I was interested in hearing, along with Always In My Head and Another's Arms (all starting with A coincidentally). I don't know what about them sparked my interest, but now I'm all the more excited about it!

Yes, ASFOS seems to be the buzz song at the moment! I read where it really kicks butt in the end, and the star confetti. To May 19 is going to take forever. We need the Magic video released NOW.

I think it was basically the same concert again except they added The Scientist. Still handed out the cards and buttons. Chris was supposedly in fine comedic form. And he announced that the recorded material will air on NBC in about a month!!!

First review I've seen. Yeah, it was essentially like the show last night but with starts and stops for specific shots. We got to hear Stars twice since we reacted so well to it. It's amazing.
Chris was hilarious today. He is the best "warm up man" ever.
They opened with Paradise, then played the new album, then closed with Clocks and The Scientist by request.
The DVD will be amazing. Chris was explaining the concepts behind the visuals and there will be other non-performance clips included.
I am so freaking happy right now. Ended up front row behind Will and with a dead on view of the piano. Still recovering from having Chris sing right at me.
Later added: "I've never seen anything like it. The crowd went nuts for a song they had never heard. It was classic big Coldplay."
Later again added: "Chris got all Pink during I think Always in my Head. He was in a harness to look like he was flying. It was so cool. The concept behind the DVD is neat." link link
