I don't think is going to do those interviews alone, i think he needs will or jonny as a backup

I'd actually gone back and read some quotes from GP that had gotten my attention at the time I read them, but now that People has brought some of the same ones out, I thought these were interesting. (I do know it's pointless right now, but I can't help but be a bit curious.)
September 2012 "Our artistic temperaments together [is the hardest part]," Paltrow told InStyle. "Artists are sensitive. There are ups and downs, mood-wise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write. The temperament that goes with someone who is creative can be challenging."
March 2013 "You're not learning anything unless you're having the difficult conversations," she told Self. "Dealing with things directly changed my relationships. Sometimes when you get clear about who you are, others get less comfortable because they liked who you were. It's changed my marriage, too, but he's up for the challenge."
May 2013 "I mean we've gone through terrible times where it's been really, really hard, but I've sort of come through those times with a much deeper understanding of myself," Paltrow revealed to PEOPLE. "And we're still married. We worked through it. I think it's easier to get divorced. But I think the more you can keep at it, the more you end up seeing the value in it. But, sometimes it is not easy."

I get when they skipp a lot of interviews. Wheter the album is about someone who dead or the ending of a relationship, 'it doesn't matter anymore'. It's definitly about losing someone. And Chris has experienced that. In some kind of way he knows the feeling. That will be uncomfortable in interviews.
But I really hope that people wont let that overshadow this album. If its about Gwyn or not, I still have the feeling this will be a great album, because it looks so intimate.
Bit besides all of that, I hope we will get the story behind the album at some point.

I agree that Fallon would no press the G issue, he keeps stuff about his own personal life private (like his marriage) so I think he likes Chris too much as a person to ask him those questions. That said, I hope the band appears on Fallon and I hope they play a game or something!

I think you're all right. Karen has put into words what I have been thinking too I have to admit. How do they ask about the album without asking about who it was written about? So difficult.
I only hope they have already thought of it and have the answer because no interviews at all would be awful.

Hmm.. although Chris might not be in the mood for giving interviews at this point (as their "conscious uncoupling" is still talked about) I can still see them doing some interviews prior to the album release. If we are completely honest, we have to accept that we don´t know anything about the way Chris feels about this. He might as well feel some kind of release because his wishes or ideas of a relationship were not fulfilled. It could be the best way for everyone involved. After all, this stripped down promotion would correlate with the stripped down musical style of the album. Maybe that´s just the way they want it to be this time. A back to the basics thing. We don´t have any neutral information about the circumstances of the break up, so why speculate and feel upset about it Don´t be Just look forward to the new Coldplay LP

All I know is I had my Ipod on shuffle and every time a Coldplay song came on it made me sad. Breaking up with someone is so incredibly difficult.

She went along with Chris not wanting to do the red carpet together or not being photographed together just to please him. Deep inside, what woman doesn't want to walk hand in hand with gorgeous, beautiful Chris Martin and show all the girls that he belongs to her? He's finally done it lately but perhaps it's too late and it's still not his thing? All speculations of course but we all need to deal & cope with the situation. I just so want him to be happy and this makes me incredibly sad. Can't wait for Monday to see him smiling on the Voice!

Got my Goop article bright and early and the PS brightened my day a bit:
One Bird, Three Meals Our moms were raised by depression-era ladies who used a single tea bag for two cups of tea and never met a leftover they didn’t eat. This issue of three delicious chicken recipes is in honor of our grandmothers, who taught us the good old-fashioned art of not wasting a scrap. Love, gp P.S. CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many. ♥
