Hey all!
Inspired by the new Coldplay video, I am curious to know what your favourite Coldplay music video is.
Mine must be "Trouble" (the animated US version). I think it's a real piece of art and it always takes me back to a time when things were less complicated. The simplicity of the music video fits their musical style of the Parachutes era very well too.

Oh wow.. I have so many. Trouble, but the UK version.. very dramatic and Chris tied to a chair (sorry!  ) I love Viva too.. the Anton Corbin Version. I love him walking through the town with the robe and crown on.. and the deck chair at the end.. Plus I have been to the Hague and walked around where he did.. Life in Technicolour - SUCH a funny video. Very clever too. Stawberry Swing.. Bloody amazing! AMAZING Paradise! So funny, so cute, and Elephants! Now Magic.. I am sorry but I cannot choose.. |

I'm picking one from each era, here goes: Parachutes- Trouble. A great simple video. AROBTTH- The Scientist. It's so good!!! X&Y- Talk. It's awesome! Viva- Strawberry Swing. How can you not like that one? MX- Paradise. Chris+ unicycle= awesomeness. So far from GS- Magic! Christophe is my dream man....  |

Strawberry Swing is the most creative, most entertaining video I can remember! Love!
edit: GPAS is my favorite song, so that would be a very close second.

I have always loved In My Place, which i suppose won't be anyone elses favourite but i'm a sucker for the performance videos. I love the way its shot, i love Chris accidently spitting on the camera, i always wanted to be one of the people on the steps, i love the emtpy room look with a chair in the corner, the novelty of chis being a proper front man with no instrument. Its simple but fantastic.
Also, GPASUYF because at 2.09/10 mins is my favourite part of any video. ever.

Just that portion alone makes me vote for it as my favorite video. I think Lovers in Japan is number 2.

I love all of them but Strawberry Swing is what stood out for me the most. It's the music video that got me aware of Coldplay's existence. If I hadn't seen it, I don't think I would be to noticing them right now.
I also really like Hurts Like Heaven. I mean, look all those colors!
